The cottages are very relaxing with plenty of space. Great option for activity based holidays for families as they reduce the restrictions of hotels/guesthouses. Homely and comfortable. Will be back next summer.

We spent three days at Big Jimmy 's Cottage as we were in Ireland for a family reunion. We were met and lead to our cottage as we would never have found it on our own. At one point I thought we were entering someone's farm, but a little country road lead to this darling cottage with beautiful views. We... More

Just back for a 3 night stay. We got a lovely welcome from Barbara who showed us around. We were surprised how big the cottage was, as it looks a lot smaller from the outside. The cottage was perfect, had everything you could possibly need. Beautiful open fire, the smell of peat just added to the experience. 2 large bedrooms.... More

Just returned from a stay in Big Jimmy's Cottage and had a brilliant few days. We didnt want to return home. The cottage is spacious yet very cosy and spotlessly clean throughout. The kitchen has everything you need and the living area comes complete with an open fireplace and basket of turf to get you started. We were met by... More

Thank you for your very kind review. Big Jimmy's is one of our popular cottages being just two fields away from the Atlantic ocean. It is located in the quiet countryside and a haven for those who want a quiet time reading, painting or just taking time out with family/friends. We look forward welcoming you in the near future More

Recently returned from a lovely pre-Christmas weekend at Mary Kate's cottage Creevy. The cottage is situated along a narrow country road about 2 miles from Creevy Pier and Ballyshannon and about 6 miles from Rossnowlagh beach. The cottage was clean and warm and very cosy with a lovely stone fireplace. The fire was already set for us when we arrived... More

We enjoy people's response when they see our fire set and a welcome starter basket of turf beside the fire - even in the summer! Thank you for your very kind review of Kitty's cottage. It is so close to both the Creevy Pier and Creevy Pier Hotel where visitors can stroll down to fish or have a beer in the hotel. Our 10 mile coastal walk overlooking Donegal Bay can be accessed from there also - which is very popular. We look forward to... More

We really enjoyed our week at Creevy Cottage! The place is just great. Barbara made us feel welcome instantly with all her delicate intentions (including a pot of fresh milk in the fridge for the tea). Burning peat in the fireplace every evening was also enjoyable. We visited the area which is I must say fantastic and we even drove... More

My husband, 5year old son and myself have just returned from a three night stay at Mary Kates. An ideal location for a relaxing country break. We are delighted you enjoyed Mary Kate's cottage during your recent stay to Creevy - you were able to enjoy all our amenities and amenities in the local area.
