You are really part of the house here. Our room was at the back overlooking the back yard. Although the bedroom was compact the ensuite was very good. The breakfast & the dining room was very good & John had lived in Australia for 20 years so was happy to have a chat. Lovely gardens at front & they make... More

Not a bad place, but not outstanding either. It was your typical b&b, although the first impression upon walking in was it smelled a bit musty. Our room was on the 2nd floor. The staircase was a bit narrow and the steps had no backing so it was a bit awkward and slightly treacherous carrying the bags upstairs and back... More

A thoroughly enjoyable stay at this bed and breakfast. Mr and Mrs Hughes were very warm, welcoming, friendly people. When we arrived they showed us to our rooms and they recommended places we could go to in Ballyshannon or Bundoran for an evening meal. The rooms were lovely, spacious and warm and we were able to make ourselves tea and... More

We arrived at the place expecting it to be what we have been staying in. NOT. The lady who answered the door was very disheveled and unkept. My dad and stepmom were shown a room on the main floor (which was across from their sons room). At this point in our trip (we had already been here two weeks) we... More

We decided to travel into Donegal for an overnight stop afteer our surfing in Enniscrone, arriving with John & Claire as prearranged to a most welcoming reception, a very nice tray of tea and home bakes was provided and we really appreciated this. A folder containing lots of leaflets & different places to visit was on our night stand .... More
