My partner and I stayed at the Ice House last weekend for a night and enjoyed it from start to finish. We arrived to check in and were upgraded to an absolutely beautiful Heritage room, complete with a beautiful big wooden bath and a lovely huge bed. We had a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival. I had a lovely... More

so I have just left the ice house. Stayed in the "Still" suite. It is gorgeous, ill do the few negatives first as there is few. The generator noise that goes off every few seconds is a little annoying, I am not a light sleeper and was nearly as far away from it in the suites as could be so... More

I recently stayed here with some friends and while the food was fantastic, with a couple of tweaks, the hotel could be so much better. It's a very quirky hotel, no numbers on the rooms, names only so you're taken to the room since you wouldn't have a hope of finding it otherwise :) We had dinner the evening we... More

We stayed as a couple last weekend after 2 nights camping and we had a fab time, from arrival to departure. We did arrive a tad early, our room was understandably not ready for check-in but we were offered a glass of bubbly (we declined, much to my regret) and had lunch in their beautiful bar/restaurant with gorgeous river views.... The location excellent , The food excellent, The views excellent , The appearance excellent , parking excellent that's the excellents all used up .. I'm afraid it was all downhill from here , Our room "Crimson" was well located over the river as are all the rooms however on arrival there was an overwhelming smell of disinfectant which we were... We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Ice hotel. The noise from the plant room kept us from sleeping. The room (Bronze) was average and slightly cold. The rooms on the same floor would also be disturbed by the noise from the plant room. The Spa was basic and the staff not overally friendly.

Nice setting, average rooms. Spa facilities ok ( relaxation room very small and cold as door to outside left open all the time) treatments in spa very good . Food very good but tables in restaurant very close together . Room was last on the long corridor and quite noisy as we seemed to be beside plant room. Brought my... More

This was our second visit to the Ice House and we stayed for two days. This gave us ample time to relax and soak in the peaceful views of the river and it's wildlife. We had an upstairs room which really afforded a wonderful view of the river (as the river is tidal, the aspect is constantly changing). We had... More

Beautiful hotel. Unfortunately we only got to stay one night as they were booked out. Very well located, old world mixed with new world sitting on the quay. Excellent staff, particularly John on reception. Again didn't get to have dinner as it was also booked out. Breakfast was a treat, delicious. Very well done to management and staff. 10/10. Look...
