Nuala and James were excellent hosts. Helpful and friendly and at the same time never intruded on our privacy. Room was spacious, clean and very welcoming. The bed had a fusion of old and new world and most importantly it was very comfy! Breakfast was superb, all the usual and more if you wanted! Great value for money and perfectly... More

Very clean and warm welcome from the Abbey owners. We arrived early and our room was ready for us to change for a wedding. The room was perfect for our stay, shower was very good. Free Wifi a great bonus. Only had breakfast once as we missed the first day (overslept) but was up to a high standard. Would recommend... More

A very welcoming B&B. Very helpful. Carried our suitcase. Plenty of parking. Big room and the hosts were really friendly. We had a purpose for our visit and the hosts made some local enquiries for us.

Lovely, clean B&B located close to downtown, with ample parking and very charming and helpful hosts. Nuala met us at the door and showed us to our room, while James carried our suitcases up the stairs. I would certainly return again.

Have stayed in many B&Bs in Ireland and the Abbey rates in the top. It is conveniently located, the parking is easy and plentiful, and the hosts were superb. James helped port our bags and offered loads of suggestions and great local color! Our room was at the front of the house and road noise was a small bother when... More

We spent four nights at the Abbey B & B. James, our host, was most friendly and helpful and made us good breakfasts. The rooms (we were with friends) were spacious and comfortable the bathroom was large. We enjoyed the sign to keep the shower doors closed when showering! Even though there was a train line behind the house, it... More
