Stayed here for a Family Wedding and spent two nights in a suite at the hotel and five nights following in one of the Courtyard Lodges. The wedding was a civil ceremony held in the large foyer of the Hotel by a lady Registrar and was conducted with extreme dignity and reverence. The reception was held in the Function room... More

While searching for our wedding venue we stayed at Mount falcon in June 2014. Firstly, the setting is fantastic and the view of the main castle as you drive in is superb, it really looks well and the grounds are kept immaculate. Other positives are the lodges and self catering accommodation on site that come in handy for your wedding... More

I won a trip for 2 to Mount Falcon and was really excited about staying here. The hotel exceeded our expectations. It was spotless throughout and the bedrooms are of a very high standard with extremely comfortable beds! The setting of the hotel itself is just stunning - beautiful trees surround the old house and there are lovely walks around... More

Our stay was following Mount Falcon's first menu and winetasting evening! The evening was a great success, although only a small group of people were there. The setting of The Kitchen Restaurant was perfect, as was the food and the wine.

We had our wedding here and it was simply a wonderful location for the occasion. The hotel is full of old world charm from the entrance hall with its open fire to its cozy snug bar and its plush drawings rooms. It offered a relaxing setting for all our guests as we had free run of the house. The function... More

We got married at Mount Falcon, Ballina, on September 19 2014. and spent four nights. The venue and staff are to die for. The venue is located in breath-taking scenery approximately 15 minutes from Ballina, County Mayo and only 30 minutes in a taxi from Knock airport. If the venue and scenery aren’t enough, there is plenty to do on... More

I regularly use Mount Falcon to meet clients over lunch. The food is always excellent and the staff courteous and pleasant. The hotel always creates a good first impression and I know that several of my guests have returned to stay there. As I have a special birthday coming up I will be looking to book a fishing break with... More

This is a beautiful hotel in fabulous grounds. The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Autumn showed the wonderful colour in the trees around the estate and there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. We really enjoyed the food in the restaurant and the only minor complaint would be that the bar is very small and it... More

We spent 3 nights in a Lakeside holiday home during the October mid-term. The house was comfortable and warm. There were 3 en suite bedrooms and under-floor heating downstairs. Mount Falcon Hotel and Estate is very picturesque and located in a lovely part of the country. I found all the staff to be friendly and helpful. There is a small... More
