We stayed for a wedding for one night. We were quoted €240 for one night but when we went to check out we were told that there was a service charge of 10%. The price was too expensive to begin with and they would not waive the extra charge that we were not informed about. The hotel itself is nice... more

Celebrated 25th wedding anniversary here in June 2009. Beautifully restored country manor on 100 acres of woodland, trails and a lake. Staff were very warm and friendly and really made you feel at home. Dinners in the hotel restaurant were fantastic. I will certainly stay here again and highly recommend it. more

Stay in Mount Falcon for our wedding anniversary in April this year, we always go somewhere special and this place did not disappoint, excellent food, bar first night, restauarant second night. We got upgraded to a suite on arrival which was a wonderful surprise. Staff excellent, cannot find fault with anything in fact, will definitely return!! more

Don't understand why this has only four stars, should be five star rated.. amazing rooms, great furniture, bathrooms, beds, linen and views. breakfast really tasty, dinner very nice in the restaurant and barfood good too, but they really need to extend the bar food time till at least 9pm, having to rush down for food by 7pm is a bit... more

My family and I rented one of the amazing Swiss Chalet type self-catering houses in May. The accommodation was nestled quietly amongst the trees, our living room overlooked by the famous water tower. The chalets are fitted out to such a high standard (just like the hotel) with big comfy beds covered in crisp white bed linen and cosy throws,... more

Our visit got off to a rough start. The first room we were placed in had neither a working telephone, internet or toilet. The staff was helpful and politely moved us to a different room after about an hour. The internet was unreliable and we were only able to connect once during our stay. Having said all that, the building... more

We had a special occassion to celebrate and decided to treat ourselves to a stay in Mount Falcon for 3 nights. We have 2 small children so we opted for the self catering option in the hotel grounds. We decided on a lakeside house which suited us as a family. We booked in, myself and kids, husband left at Enniscrone... more

Just returned from a stay in Mount Falcon with my partner and parents - we'd booked a 'treat' weekend in order to catch up with each other. And treat it really was - as mentioned before the staff were fabulous, hotel itself elegant and comfortable (and spotlessly clean). All the facilities were faultless and the food superb - both in... more

Everything about Mount Falcon is impressive but the staff is truly outstanding. Take a bow, Henrietta and Louisa and all the other ones whose names I can't recall but will always remember. I had never heard of Mount Falcon but the hotel came recommended by a friend of a friend. Driving up to the house on a rather drizzly and... more
