The hotel is in a nice location to walk to everything. Plenty of restaraunts and pubs within walking distance as well as shops. Rooms are fine and breakfast is the usual Irish breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

staff very friendly and helpful breakfast was served to you and was not bad had a small menu. Room was very warm and needed a revamp supposed to have complimentary water in room none there and room was quite dark. Nice bar with a small balcony overlooking river. Very small amount of car parking spaces but ask at hotel for... More

It appears that the hotel is under construction but the 'no unauthorised access' signs are unfriendly, confusing & difficult to navigate. The rooms are clean and of an average standard. The staff are very very helpful. The hotel is in a central location but as a result can be quite noisy. The bar is quite dreary & lacking in atmosphere.... More

Booked to stay here for 3 nights whilst attending my niece,s wedding, but decided to stay an extra night instead of moving hotels. The staff were absolutely fantastic throughout our stay, from the reception staff to the cleaning staff. We had breakfast four mornings ranging from Full Irish to scrambled egg with smoked salmon, plenty of toast jam, cereal etc.We ate here in the beautiful restaurant... Good central location, very friendly staff, great shower and comfortable bed. Free parking and wifi which was very convenient. Let down a bit by street noise, limited breakfast choice, decor could do with an update and being cleaned a little better in the public areas. Would visit again but only for a couple of nights at the most.

Quite a few members of my family stayed here and there were mixed reports, although my own was positive and based on it alone this could have been a 4-star rating. Rooms overlooking the river seemed to be quieter, newer and bigger. We had 217, which was nice. The breakfast was ok, nothing special. The staff were friendly and helpful... More

Stayed here just for one night last week . Staff were great and the room was fine . Had a bit of difficulty locating the room as there was no directions when we exited the lift and the TV wasn't working in the room. The downstairs bar was closed and the bar on the first floor was nothing to write... More

Stayed in hotel about 2weeks ago . Booked at short notice and so room was quite expensive . Double room was quite big in size. Room seemed to be part of a suite . No locker beside my husbands bed. Bathroom clean, but no shelf to leave ones toothbrush and toiletries. Socket to plug in kettle was not working. Furniture... More

The best western was nice. We had seen some earlier reviews saying that the decor is dated but I disagree as I quite liked the antique feel to the place. The room we stayed in wasn't very big, but standard I think for just a double room. It was clean and was cleaned every day. The bathroom was also clean.... More

Arrived early to get limited parking space in underground carpark. Nervous driver should park on the street. Enter into small lobby with occasional furniture and reception desk. Then, after check in, enter a maze of corridors to find your room. Fire Doors are without any glass. Just solid wood, which makes the corridors a bit institutionalized. All OK though, when... More
