It is convenient for exploring the area and is handy for Ballina shopping, etc. We really didn't use anything other than the room, which is OK. It is clan and tidy, but we were alarmed that you could get out onto a roof two floors up. Free Wi-Fi is useful though.

Hotel I would say is average quite clean and staff were friendly enough. My biggest problem was the heat in the bedrooms. Even with the windows open it was stifling. Couldn't sleep it was so uncomfortable. The rads were off so I don't know why the rooms are so warm. Everything else was acceptable but I wouldn't say 4 star.

This was our first stop on our mini tour of the west. we booked in for 3DBB at €159pps. We arrived mid afternoon and were directed to the FREE underground car park. They had upgraded us to a suite for free which was great. The staff were alll very helpful especially Noel in the dining room who attended our every... More

This was our first stop on our brief Ireland Interlude on motorbikes.... Good underground secure carpark and very nice hotel with good bar and restaurant. Helpful staff and a very nice meal in the dining room complete with great Irish breakfast in the morning. Great Irish hospitality and would absolutely come back if ever in the area...

The heat in the room was unbearable, there was no way to cool room down. Radiators weren't on, we had windows opened nothing helped. The noise from outside was really bad as we had to have windows open due to heat in room. Was really disappointed

We found this hotel to be in a great location, with a comfortable room, which was very clean. A decent-sized bathroom with plenty of water pressure was a welcome sight! Very friendly personnel and a delicious breakfast!

Ballina and nearby Sligo were fully booked due to an Irish festival In Sligo. We ended up here as it was the only hotel left with rooms. Our room was very tiny and reaked of bleach on arrival. We did have a restricted view of the river but did manage to see fishernen in there which was good. When checking... More

When you arrive at the hotel it looks nice but when you enter it feels like you just entered an elderly peoples home. The temperature in the hotel halls and room is just uncomfortable hot, even opening the windows in the hotel room all day we didn't manage to cool it off. When we were there they were apparently doing... More

Currently being refurbished as looking a little tired, We had a nice room overlooking the river. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The food was good and again the restaurant and balcony overlook the river. You could watch the Salmon coming up the river and the fishermen fly fishing. A plesant one night stay
