Great place to visit, very welcoming people, spotless accommodation and brilliant breakfasts. Close to the centre of town and near to the river Moy. We had a faultless five days here and will book again when we return.

My Parent's (Margaret and Tony) asked me to write this review on their behalf: We stayed in New Lodge B&B for 3 nights and would highly recommend it. The owners are exceptionally friendly and make you feel so welcome. The accommodation is extremely clean. Finally the breakfast is wonderful! If you are looking for a B&B in Ballina then do... More

Stayed at the new lodge for 3 nights. A lovely welcome and great stay. Great irish breakfast. Very helpful and friendly service. Some road noise but you get used to it after a few guinesses. Only a short walk into town and it's attractions. Thanks Phil. ......

Stayed here for one night on a cycling trip around the northern half of Ireland. I received a very warm welcome and was very well looked after during my stay. Very reasonably priced too, especially if you are traveling solo. The delicious, full Irish breakfast set me up nicely for the long hilly, windy (yet scenic) cycle to the Gaeltacht... More

My family and I had been touring around Ireland for about 6 days when we arrived in Ballina. We had booked two rooms at 'The Wolf Dog Tavern' (I will review it separately) but when we arrived to check in it was not what we were expecting, to say the least! We left the Wolf Dog with nowhere else booked... More

We stayed for 2 nights. The room, although small in American standard, was nicely decorated, spotless and comfortable temperature. The bathroom was clean and up to date. Throw a few washcloths in your suitcase as it is not commonly provided we discovered. The food was very good and the owners were very gracious. Fees were reasonable. There was adequate free... More

Stayed for one night recently and I honestly can't fault it. Phil was extremely friendly and chatty, room was immaculate and had everything I needed including tea/coffee. Plus having roughly 15 tv channels was a bonus. Very reasonably priced too. I won't hesitate to stay here again. Top class!

The proprietor was pleasant and helpful and the rooms were okay. It is located on a main road by the train and bus stations and an easy walk to a local grocery and acceptable pub. The breakfast was okay. The negative was very dim lighting in the room.

We (my parents and I) stayed here for 3 nights from 14th - 17th August. It was one of the most welcoming and homely places we've ever stayed. We didnt arrive until 9.30pm but Phil and Sean greated us like old friends. The rooms were lovely and spotlessly clean. Towels etc were changed every day. The breakfasts were massive and... More
