My husband joined me for a "chat meet" at Leim Siar just two weeks ago. He was a bit reluctant to make the trip since the folks we were meeting were all on-line friends that he'd never "known" the way I did. Getting just a wee bit turned around on our trip from Northern Island to the west coast did... More

My sister and I stayed from Wednesday 1st October 2014 to Saturday 4th and, thanks to Hannah and her family and Rachel on work experience, we had the most amazing time!! Nothing was too much trouble. We experienced things that would not have been on any tour guide itinerary, even helped to rescue some dolphins that had come ashore. Of... More

I stayed here during a weekend visit to very west of Ireland. The area is as "old Ireland" as it gets. Perfect for walking/ exploring the beautiful coastlines. Hannah was our host and her welcome was as warm and friendly as the lovely home she keeps. Nothing was too much trouble and all we had to do was ask. Lovely... More

This B&B is a real gem. Hannah is a brilliant host and nothing is too much bother to her. She does a brilliant breakfast with homemade bread and scones. The feeling of this place is so homely. There are tea/coffee making facilities in the dining room with a sitting room for the use of all guests which is a lovely... More

Deciding upon a return to Erris after 46 years, I needed somewhere to stay for three or four nights. But this was to be in August, the peak of the summer season. I had left things very late, and thought I might not be able to find anywhere: however, a quick phone call to my first choice, Leim Siar, allayed... More

My friend and I stayed in Léim siar b&b for the Belmullet fair. The bed and breakfast is located in a beautiful area with breath taking views! The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was great with a lot of options available! Hannah, the hostess was very friendly and made a lot of time for us. It's certainly worth... More

If you are looking for a very remote location, like walking & peace & quiet, then this B&B may suit you. It did not suit us. Whilst room was clean and tidy, it lacked the expected tea & coffee making facilities in the room, however our host Hannah offered use of the communal dining room. Just not the same. We... More

though the house is practically out in the far end of Ireland, it's close to a gat scenery. We were welcomed by young fellows from Spain and France doing their work practise. Big lovely room as well as bathroom, with view over the countryside. If you want to have dinner book in advance since the local lovely pub doesn't serve... More

I travelled to the Belmullet peninsula as part of a family trip in May 2014. The accommodation at the Leim Siar is modern, very clean and situated in a stunningly beautiful location. The host (Hannah) quite simply could not have done more to ensure that our stay was an excellent one. She works tirelessly to look after her guests and... More
