A nice, clean, friendly hotel in the classic style. Not luxurious (for those who seek that) but perfect for those who want more ameneties than your typical B&B. Great hub for Dingle peninsula touring and all things downtown Dingle. The parking, alone, is valuable on busy days. All staff that we encountered were genuiely friendly, professional, and anxious to please.... more

Benners is a traditional hotel - there is nothing particularly fancy about it - but what is exceptional - truely expectional is the staff - staying at Benners is like being looked after by an extended family. They must be paid and treated well by the owners because they go that extra mile to ensure you are looked after. The... more

There is a real sense of antiquity to this hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights and loved Our room was right at the top of the old building, 426 I think it was. This felt like a suite, it's a good sized room with plenty of character, There is no lift so it might be an annoyance for some... more

We've been staying at Dingle Benners since October 1988. The staff, from reception to waitstaff to housekeeping, have always made us feel comfortable and at home. They couldn't be more accommodating and friendly - always ready with helpful tips on day trips, happy to make reservations anywhere in the country for excursions out of town, recommendations on good restaurants in... more

A majority of these hotel reviews do not match reality. Don't know where else these people have stayed besides this place, but their expectations could not have been much. The wall heater in our room was hanging off of the wall, there were holes in the walls, bathroom was tiny, furniture very Econo Lodge like.. Would never recommend this to... more

We loved Benners Hotel. It is right on the main street in charming Dingle and had a large parking lot - what a blessing! The hotel is very charming with lots of little lounges and sitting areas. There is a nice bar in the front and a restaurant in the middle. We did not eat a dinner there, but the... more

We arrived on Friday evening for a weekend in and around the Dingle penninsula and received a warm friendly welcome from the receptionist. She was really charming and asked did we want a hand with our bags? had we stayed here previously? She also gave us the run down on dining at the hotel, brekkie in the morning and the... more

Having decided to visit Dingle over New Years, we decided to stay in the Benners Hotel after reading the reviews and the location of the hotel. We were disappointed to discover that it didn't live up to any of the other reviews at all. First of all we were assigned a very small room that was not decorated to the... more

We stayed at the Dingle Benners Hotel has part of a driving vacation through Ireland in September. The Benners had been recommended by a friend that stays in Dingle quite frequently and always in this hotel. We were SO glad that we listened to her advice. The hotel was located in a great location for first time travelers to the... more

We were two middle-aged couples looking for a short break, and nearly booked the large, seaside place just outside Dingle that is part of the same group. However we drove to Dingle, and didn't like the look of that hotel, so went into the centre of the small town, and found a jewel! The Benners is an old building with... more
