My wife and I stayed one night at Castlewood House during our recent whirlwind trip around Ireland. I wish we had stayed longer! First and foremost, Helen and Brian are wonderful innkeepers. They both made us feel like old friends. The location is beautiful...overlooking the water right at the start of Slea Head Drive (a must). We had a junior... More

this b&b was more like a hotel . The owners Brian and Helen were the perfect hosts. The bedroom was lovely . Tea making facilities with proper china cups , robes and slippers in the bathroom and beers and wines to order at very reasonable rates. The breakfast menu was vast and the food was exceptional . On the way... More

What a wonderful place. Brian and Helen are very warm and inviting, and made our visit to their Inn very personal. Brian recommended a few local spots and restaurants, which worked out perfectly. Helen even sat with us at breakfast, making sure that we were steady with our itinerary. The accommodations are impeccable and our front room, facing the Dingle... More

My fiancée and I stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast in late November. We can't say enough about it. Our hosts were fantastic and gave great advice on touring the area. The place itself was very cozy and our room had a gorgeous view of the bay. In the end...as with almost every other review...what took the cake was... More

We stayed here for 3 nights over new year & it was great! Our room was lovely & the jacuzzi bath was marvellous. We had a lovely view of the bay. Brian was very welcoming & greeted us with a glass of Buck's Fizz each. All the staff were really friendly. One of the highlights of staying here will have... More

Brian and his small team gave us and our small group of friends and family a wee wedding better than we had ever imagined possible. Bedrooms and living accommodation, food, and service were all exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and the personal touches were appreciated by us all. Am not going to write anything here that we haven't already... More

We stayed at the Castlewood House in April 2014. As others have noted, the accommodations were beautiful. We booked a double deluxe room overlooking the water. The room, as well as the bathroom, were spacious and clean. The bathroom had a walk-in shower and separate tub. Towels, bedding, and toiletries were nice. The breakfast was excellent. Helen chatted with everyone... More
