We have stayed in B&B's throughout Europe for many years and I can honestly say that this was among the top 2 or 3 ever. No need to blather on. All the other reviewers have said it already. As if the view were not enough, the food, the rooms, the location. But wait, there's more..... Hats off to John for... More

There's not much more you can say about the Pax House that hasn't already been said! My husband and I had an unforgettable experience at the Pax House and in Dingle. Although everything was exceptional, two things put this place above and beyond all else; the attention to detail and wonderful service the owner John and his lovely staff provided,... More

I'll tell you when! When it's Pax Guest House. I'm not sure how to describe the experience we had last weekend. We arrived in the pouring rain to be greeted by a smiling John who sat us down and gave us tea and coffee in the beautiful sun room and although there was no sun the cosy atmosphere and interesting... What is the difference between average and extraordinary? Presentation...presentation...presentation. John o'farrell has created a house much like Alice's Wonderland overlooking Dingle Bay. It's an abode filled with whimsy with the comfort meter set on high. Aesthetic artwork, a basket overflowing with layers of jewel-toned mohair throws, tea served in china cups like grand-mother's with a bird shaped tea strainer housed... More

Just back from Ireland. Our stay at the Pax House in Dingle was unforgettable. It is a special place. The view is spectacular. John and his team pay great attention to detail, they are helpful and super friendly. The guest house is beautifully decorated. We loved sitting in the living area, having breakfast, looking out over the ocean. Whether it's... More

I came here with my husband and this was our first B&B experience and we agreed that this experience has ruined all future B&B experiences because nothing will ever compare. If you can, stay in the double sea view room (the Blasket room) because the views from the room are amazing, beautiful and such a pleasure to wake up to.... More

Just like all the other reviews, there's not enough good things to say about Pax House and John. Just over the top with friendly service. The view lives up to the hype. Our room had a patio (which was unfortunately too cold and rainy to use) that had the most spectacular water view. The common area where guests meet and... More

We had a wonderful time at Pax House. Thank you John for all you did to make us feel so comfortable. We had to endure a hospital visit earlier in our trip which led us to change our plans slightly and all was rearranged very easily. Pax House was a fantastic recuperative stay and Dingle had some wonderful restaurants. We... More

You have to stay here at least once (and preferably many times) in your life. Pax House is one in a million, and we really can't say enough about how wonderfully we were treated here. Beautiful views, gourmet breakfasts and Rio the charming house dog all contributed to a lovely two-night stay. Many, many thanks to John and all of... More
