My husband, adult daughter and I all really enjoyed our stay at the Alpine Guesthouse, Dingle Town. The triple room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Our room had the added bonus of a lovely view. Breakfasts were generous and tasty. The gardens were lovely with huge, beautiful hydrangeas! Paul O'Shea was a warm and welcoming host. Dingle Town was... more

This place needs a serious makeover. The rooms are poorly decorated and amount of dust on the carpets is incredible - little clouds of dust from every footstep!!!! When looking for an electric socket to plug in a phone charger I moved the locker in the room to reveal mounds of cobwebs and dust. I'm surprised at all the good... more

Located on the main road into Dingle from Tralee, but just a very short walk (less than 5 minutes) from the town center, the Alpine is a great find and great value. Due to its status as a tourist hot-spot, rooms in Dingle B&B's average around e70/night for a standard single room, but one can be had here for e40!... more

We were scheduled to arrive at the Alpine on a Saturday night, and ran into a huge problem. We were broken down by the side of the road with no help from the car rental agency. We called the Alpine to let them know we may not make it there, and Paul arranged a bus service (big enough for 6... more

We read Rick Steve's recommendations for Dingle and he was right on the money. We contacted the Alpine directly and Paul O'Shea responded right away. The price was very affordable for the nice accomodations we received and the great breakfast too. Paul also advised us on pubs, places to see, and other things of interest. He was very nice and... more

We were driving around Ireland on our honeymoon & found the Alpine Guesthouse nice, comfortable, and friendly. It is a large, 3-storey building that's like a cross between a motel and a B&B. The owner, Paul, was very nice, and the breakfast (which is included) was good. We had a nice, spacious double room with ensuite and it had a... more

This place was fairly inexpensive (38E/night, double room with a private bathroom) and a great base of operations for visiting Dingle and the surrounding area. We liked the view of a cow pasture across the road from our front-facing room. The proprietor, though introverted for a B&B guy, was very nice and responsive to questions and concerns. Breakfast itself was... more

We only stayed one night at Alpine, so our experience is limited. It is a larger guesthouse (as opposed to a B & B) with nicely appointed rooms. We had two rooms - one single (with a view of the backyard) and one double (with a view of the harbor). The bathroom in the double was huge, but the bathroom... more

My husband and I traveled Ireland by car and for the most part just called ahead same day when we knew our final destination. We decided to stay two nights in Dingle. Paul O'Malley (Owner) answered right away and I immediately felt at ease with his friendly and warm personality. I was able to reserve one of the nights at... more

The rooms were large and clean. Shower pressure was the best of all the places we stayed. Paul O'Shea was welcoming and helpful. It was a short walk to the city center. The only negative - we were handed a breakfast menu and were not given any time to look it over. She wanted an immediate decision (before my first... more
