We stayed at An Speice for two nights whilst walking on the Dingle Way. Alice made us feel very welcome and at ease. She went out of her way to assist us, and her knowledge of the local area was very helpful. The room was delightfully furnished and peaceful, and breakfast was varied and satisfying. It was a pleasure to... More

An Speice is clean and cozy. A beautiful place in a smallish village that also has loads to offer. Alice is very hospitable and knowledgeable of the area. Dingle is a place for walking, and many of the ancient sites and scenic places are not marked well. Alice helped us find all of them. The breakfast was hardy and delicious,... More

Clean, accommodating and caring family run this B & B. Breakfast was the best we had in Ireland on our trip and the entire family could not have been any more pleasant. Many thanks to all of the Hannafins. We were worried we would have to drive to the village, but it really was just a short walk and there... More

We stayed with Alice for four nights while on a walking tour of the Dingle Peninsula. We had a lot more wind and rain than anticipated for the first week in May. Alice was incredibly generous and helped make our visit pleasurable in spite of the weather, offering to drive us to places to start short day hikes back to... More

Alice couldn't have been nicer! The rooms were immaculate and had everything you needed. Breakfast was great and now we are trying to plan when we will go back. Played Dingle golf course and just loved it.

I recently enjoyed a week long stay here. In a picturesque setting, Speice BnB is a perfect location in Ballyferriter for trips to the blaskets, Slea Head and central to Dingle Penninsula attractions. We had a lovely room with an ensuite and tv, the beds are comfortable, there is a great choice of breakfasts, free wi-fi and there were 24hr... More

Stayed in An Spéice for the second time to attend an Irish language course for a week. Alice is so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return again and will recommend An Spéice to others. Thanks Alice!

We recently stayed at An Speice B and B for two nights while walking the Dingle Way. We've stayed at many B and B's but we have never had a hostess like Alice. She is so wonderful--hospitable, helpful, welcoming. She goes above and beyond what one might expect. An Speice is also a lovely B and B with a wonderful... More

That's the way I feel when I come back to the Dingle peninsula in general and to Alice's house in particular. This time was our fourth visit to the area and our second stay at An Speice B&B, but it will probably not be the last. Alice knows how to make you feel comfortable and while she is always ready... Spent a night in April while touring Ireland with my family. An Speice was a perfect spot for an overnight while taking in the Dingle area. Alice provided all the comforts of home. Upon arrival, she prepared tea and muffins to welcome us. We had two rooms which were comfy, clean and nicely decorated. While we were out for dinner,... More
