My partner and I walked the entire Dingle Way, and our evening stays were (in order): Dingle, Dunquin, and Ballydavid. An Bothar Pub and Guesthouse technically is in Ballydavid, not Dingle. It may only be ten minutes away from Dingle by car, but the walking distance between Dunquin and An Bothar is about 18 miles; so, from this perspective it's strange to see An Bothar listed under Dingle.

An Bothar is absolutely delightful. It's at the base of Masatiopaman summit (763 meters) and seems to be in the middle of nowhere. Views of the countryside are gorgeous. The accommodations were spacious, clean and contemporary. The restaurant and pub fit the bill after ten hours of hoofing it over the Dingle Way. Guinness and Murphy's Stout and the accompanying pub food never tasted better or satisfied more! more
