Ashfield B&B was a welcomed site after a day of driving and experiencing Ireland. Mary welcomed us as long lost relatives. The B&B is located a very short walk from Kenmare itself, yet has the privacy and quietness that weary travelers desire. Everything was perfect, the rooms clean, and cheery. We took Mary's advice on where to go and were... More

Mary was the most friendly and helpful of hosts. Our 2 day stay was perfect. The house is in a great spot as a base for seeing around the area. Mary's breakfasts kept us fuelled for the day and the house was very comfortable indeed. Very clean and well looked after. Highly recommend staying here if you want to tour... More

Mary was very welcoming on our arrival providing scones and tea and her own home made jam to go with the scones. This house appears to have been built quite recently specifically as a B&B with the upper floor dedicated entirely to 4 self contained rooms. Our room was clean and modern with a compact but well laid out new... More

Mary was a very welcoming and friendly host. She gave me directions to the places that we wanted to see. Very comfortable rooms. Comfortable lounge area with tea and coffee always available. Will stay here again and highly recommend her B&B.

Beautiful B&B in a quite area of town. Our host, Mary, was very accomadating and offered us a great room. Breakfast was well prepared and generous. Mary also suggested places to visit and to eat. We had dinner with another couple we met at the B&B and had a lovely evening out in Ashfield. If you are looking for a... More

This is a beautiful B and B in a great location. Mary made every effort to accommodate our son's dietary needs. Her vegan, gluten free French toast was a huge hit. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Terry M.

As a b and b owner myself, I enjoy staying in other people's b and b's which are so much more accommodating than hotels. Ashfield Bed and Breakfast did not disappoint. This lovely b and b was one of the best we stayed in on my first trip to Ireland. The attention to detail and comfortable, spacious rooms were an... More

It was our first time in B&B and Ashfield gave us very good impression about living in B&B. We stayed in tripple room there (2 adults & 1 child). The house look very new and clean to us. The room was also clean and got enough space for we three to move around while pack and unpack our big luggages.... More

My fiancé and I have never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast before, and this one really spoiled us. Mary was an excellent host! The rooms were extremely clean and the house was great! We even had a great view overlooking Kenmare bay and the mountains. It was quiet and comfortable. And Mary makes a mean Irish breakfast - best... More

What a charming place Kenmare is and Ashfield B&B is a delightful place to park down for a couple of days. Our host Mary was charming and made us feel really welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and the sitting room was stocked with tea and coffee. The outlook was stunning and the room was clean and comfortable. Nothing was... More
