We enjoyed our stay of two nights in August at Ashfield B&B which is situated about 1 km from the town of Kenmare in a quiet residential area adjacent to a golf course and playing fields. Our hostess Mary was friendly and helpful with advice on things to see and do. Our room was very comfortable and both the cooked... More

Mary was an absolutely wonderful hostess. Food was delightful, she was knowledgeable about all of the sights to see and restaurants to try, and the rooms were spacious and clean and well decorated. I will definitely be staying when I return in a few years!

Mary Brennen.....a first call hostess who keeps a very nice B&B. Her service, breakfasts, rooms, and travel advice....all nicely done and appreciated. Her ready smile and the accompanying rosy cheeks......... free :) We stayed three nites and were pleased throughout our stay. Kenmare vs. Killarney, is less crowded (tourists) and easy to get around within and to all the sights... More

We booked 4 nights with Mary at Ashfield B&B for late August 2015. This was the perfect way to begin our two weeks in Ireland. Mary was an incredible host and the B&B is absolutely wonderful. Our room had lots of light and everything was immaculate. We would not hesitate to stay there again!

This is a lovely B&B situated in a quiet location with an easy walk into town for eating, drinking or browsing. The facilities were very clean, reasonably spacious and tidy and Mary was an excellent host. The breakfast was very nice, especially the full Irish. This was a great place to return to following a busy day out exploring the sights.

Mary was a great host, the rooms were great and breakfasts delicious. There were six of us in the group and everyone was happy with the accommodations. I would be very happy staying there again. The GPS was our only problem but once we found the place (based on Mary's directions not the GPS) all was well.

We stayed for one night at this very nice B&B located just outside the charming village of Kenmare. It is an easy 5-10 minute walk to the center of the town. Mary is a lovey hostess with a great sense of humor and also very kind....a young couple traveling by bus was planning to walk to the station with their... More

Would recommend this B&B - great location for golf, only about a 12 minute walk into Kenmare itself (& that was in heels) - lovely pubs & restaurants. Mary was a great host & served up a delicious breakfast & the room was clean & comfortable.

Outstanding plus. We stayed with Mary for one night at the end of our Ring of Kerry trip. This is a fantastic B & B and Mary maintains the highest possible standards and takes great pleasure in providing her guests with a wonderful experience. The rooms are extremely well maintained, the bathroom sparkled and she provides all those "little extras"... More
