This place was just great! The host allowed me to check in early, the room was really unique and really cute. A lot of rock walls and such. He made a great breakfast. It wasn't really close to town, but I walked to distance and it wasn't too bad. It was worth it to stay at this place.

The Druid Cottage was a most delightful B&B in Kenmare. Its stone exterior and cozy rooms were what the name conjured up in our minds (the ceiling in our room had wooden beams). Bernadette, the owner, was very friendly and hospitable. The enjoyable 10-15 minute walk through the Heritage Trail (a paved pathway through a park-like area into the city... More

This place is the cutest cottage ever! The rooms are small indeed but that is to be expected in Europe where everything is smaller. However if you are planning on staying for more than a couple nights pick another place with bigger rooms so you aren't too crammed. The food was good in the morning and one of the hosts... More

We stayed for 1 night as we were touring Ireland. Comfortable room (ground floor), good breakfast. Close to town (walking distance) Great pubs restaurants and music in most places!.Friendly hosts, knowledgeable and helpful.

Druid cottage in kenmare is the real thing. Ivy covered cottage with welcoming hosts and a great choice of breakfasts. Helpful recommendations from Phillip and Bernadette. Would stay again with pleasure

Overall, a fine BnB with nothing standing out as great or poor. One of the owners appears to be into climbing (mountain, rock, etc.) judging from the pictures on the wall, though we didn't get a chance to chat much about it. Our room was perhaps on the small side of what we experienced at other BnB's in Ireland, but... More

The house and the rooms are very nice and so are the owners. Very kind and helpful people. It is a little bit far from the city centre but the owner offered herself to give us a ride into town at 10pm. I totally recommend this place.

We stayed one night in September 2013. While the room was ok, the owners definitely were not. While in our room just before bed (around 9:30) we kept getting annoyed because someone was shining car lights into our room. When I went to see the owners they told me they keep flood lights on unti l10PM, so that "people can... More

This B & B is a 25 minute walk to Kenmare so only good if you have a car or it's not raining, which it did repeatedly during our 4 day stay. Although the owners are charming, helpful and will give guests a ride into town if they are free and the old stone house atmospheric, the en-suite bath and... More

This was a more modest facility than others we stayed in, but the location was very good and the hosts very caring. The room we had was in the rear on the ground floor. It was smaller than the rooms in the other B&B's we visited.
