Really nice room, the staff were very friendly, and the food was fantastic. Really couldn't have asked for anymore in terms of a good weekend away! Kenmare is a beautiful town and Davitts really is in the heart of it. Would recommend this place to anyone venturing over to the emerald isles. A solid 9/10 more

We had never stayed in a "guesthouse" before and were a little nervous. But Davitts was fabulous - one of the best values you can find! The room was spacious and clean, the location was perfect, the staff was helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again. more

Kenmare a lovely town and great centre to tour from. However Davitts is over priced and a lot of noise. Also lacks air conditioneing and needs more windows. Staff very rushed and restaurant has average food at a high price approx E50 for three courses a la carte. Rooms average but again could have better ventilation througout. A lot of... more

Our internet enquiry was dealt with very promptly and we received a very friendly welcome. The staff were cheerful and keen to help. Our room was homely, clean and comfortable and the food was excellent. Davitts is in the centre of the charming, small town of Kenmare with its many restaurants within walking distance. The surrounding countryside and coastline is... more

We had a great time staying at Davitts. We were on the top floor, the rooms were huge. It was very quite and relaxing. Breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful for planning our day trips. We spent a lot of time in Kenmare, and I would definetly recommend Davitts if your looking for a nice... more

Our stay at Davitt's was great! The rooms were roomy, clean and I loved the duvets! Mary gave us tips and great answers to all the questions that we had about the area. We also had a diverse and delicious breakfast. Definitely recommend Davitts! more

Stayed at Davitts for 2 nights while in Kenmare. We found Kenmare to be a lovely area and a nice central are for lots of activities in Western Ireland. Only a few minutes away from Killarney National Park, Davitts had a great location. The staff at Davitts were extremely helpful. They were able to give us suggestions for what we... more

We stayed here last month and were not very impressed with the overall place. Our bedroom was a bit old fashioned but to be honest the colours would not have bothered me, but the stale smell from the bedspread did. There was also mould in the en-suite. Downstiars the restaurant is large but there is only windows at the very... more

Firstly at Davitts we do not have bedspreads only Duvets with white Linen throughout. All our bedrooms are neutral with the exception of a splash of colour in our Cushions & Pictures. Our housekeeping is excellent & on inspecting everything again we have found no mould in any of our bathrooms. We are one of the most reasonabley priced restaurants...

We recently stayed in Davitts and couldn't have been more pleased. This is our third trip to Ireland and have stayed in many B&Bs and this far surpassed everything we have seen. The rooms were up to date and clean with beautiful bedding. The service was out of this world. Mary, who runs the hotel, was unbelievable. She truly forsees... more
