Charming, gorgeous views, attentive owners, great breakfast, and where you want to be. It is a 10-15 minute walk or 2 minute drive to Kenmare which is just the right size for touring, eating, drinking, and shopping. There is plenty of sightseeing within a short drive. We ended up one day's excursion in Kilarney (less than an hour away). It... More

This probably was my favorite B&B setting of our two week trip. It's just outside Kenmare but easily accessible. It seemed to have been built to look older than it was and the rooms were clean and charmingly decorated. Breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. However I did not give it a 5 because the bed in our room was lumpy... More

We stayed here 3 nights in July, the property as mentioned is a 10 -15 minute walk to down town. The rooms were an okay size and our room overlooked the water. There was a large lounge area on the sleeping floor .The breakfast room was a little dark. Brendan went out of his way to be a great host... More

From having stayed in this lovely B&B approx 7 years ago, we again decided to chose same for a night in Kenmare. Myself, my husband & my mother-in-law stayed last night in Abbey Court. From the minute we arrived yest eve, Geraldine & husband Brendan could not be more welcoming & accomodating, from a choice of rooms, both downstairs &... More

Kenmare is a charming town and this little B&B was wonderful. The staff was great, the rooms were nice (although the windows don't open very far but that is because they are original - so if you are like me and want to sleep with fresh air this may not be the place for you.) - the breakfast was very... The Abbey Court is located near the water's edge and also has fab mountain views, we could have spent hours just looking at it. There is ample seating outside to sit on, Brendon served us sparking water on the patio which was so much appreciated on a warm day. The days are long this time of the year which is... More

This place is alright. The rooms and large but the bathroom is very small. And the rooms are quite outdated. Our curtains wouldn't close properly so people outside could see in. The house is a little bit out of town, maybe a 15 walk. 3 minute drive. They have a car park which is safe. there's not much of a... More

Abbey Court is located right beside Kenmare Golf club. Part of the course is also across the way. The course was excellent and quite reasonable. We also played at the Ring of Kerry course which is about a ten minute drive from the lodgings. The hosts provided us with ample information about our golfing options prior to booking which we... This B&B had a lovely property and was very well located as it was only a 10 minute walk from town center. The host and hostess were so friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, our host served us coffee and cookies in one of their sitting rooms and gave us some helpful maps outlining the area and its highlights. We had... More

Abbey Court is a really nice B&B located just 1km for the center of Kenmare. The B&B has a gorgeous setting, the room was spotless, and the food was delicious. The owners were very friendly and could not have been more helpful. I would highly recommend Abbey Court to anyone looking to tour either the Ring of Kerry or Beara... More
