Brendan, owner of Abbey Court, was very helpful in recommending the sights and directed us to take the mountain pass coming back from the Ring of Kerry. This B&B is a good base if you're traveling to the Ring. The grounds are lovely and there are large sitting rooms with fireplaces. The home was absolutely lovely and accommodations were comfortable.... more

I stayed at Abbey Court for one night on my way through to the Ring of Kerry from Dublin. The location of this B&B is stunning - the view from the backyard is breathtaking. Kenmare is a picturesque little village with plenty of shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. The location is great for exploring the Beara Peninsula and the Ring of... more

This was the first stop on a 21 day visit to the west coast. We stayed for 5 nights and were so impressed with the accomodation and our wonderful hosts. Geraldine welcomed us on our arrival with a pot of tea and cookies after showing us to our room. This was very welcome after an overnight flight from Canada and... more

My partner and I stayed in the Abbey Court B&B for one night in August. Our room was very spacious with a great view. The walk into town was only 10 minutes. The breakfast next morning was really good with a great choice. The only thing that could be improved was the shower in our room. Ger & Brendan are... more

We stayed in several bed & breakfasts during our 12 day stay in Ireland. Abbey Court was by far our best experience. I don't have a single complaint. We have two young children, so we were looking for space; they have a perfect 2 bedroom apartment outside the main house. It was perfect. The space was great and the decor... more

I can't say enough about Abbey Court. This is my second stay here and both times have been equally wonderful. The host, Brendan, made us coffee/tea on arrival and spent a great deal of time talking to us. He made us feel so welcomed. The house is pristine! The location couldn't be better . . . close to the quaint... more

Abbey Court and its hosts Brendan, Liz and Ger run an amazing B&B in a breathtaking location. The accommodation is very spacious and very tastefully decorated with antiques, paintings and real attention to detail. The most outstanding thing was the way each one of them cared for their guests and everyone was made to feel so welcome. Breakfast were excellent... more

My husband and I stayed here last month for 2 nights and this was our favorite B&B of the 4 we went to in Ireland. Brendan and Geraldine were both super nice and oh-so-helpful -- especially when we had to scramble to find another boat ride to the Skelligs the next day because the original boat we booked with left... more
