We stumbled upon this B&B while on a recent trip to Ireland. Brendan and Geraldine were the most helpful hosts we encountered on our trip. Nothing was too much trouble. They also ran us into town and waited for us due to ill health. They have a lovely lounge available to guests where you can sit and relax or read.... More

We returned to Abbey Court during the summer for our fifth visit. We return again and again because of the outstanding welcome, excellent rooms, fantastic breakfast and great value. brendan and Ger make all their guests feel so welcome and this is so evident each morning at breakfast, at arrival and at all times. Brendan and his family are great... More

We stayed at the Abbey Court and we can honestly say that it was the best B&B we stayed in. Brendan and his good wife Gwen simply could not do enough for us and made us so welcome. In all of ireland it would be hard to find a better place to stay. On arrival Brendan greeted us with tea... More

If we ever go back to Kenmare in the future, I would have no problem staying at the Abbey Court B&B again. Pulling into the love driveway gave you the feeling that this might be a beautiful house tucked away from the street. And that feeling was right. Tons of space for parking. The Hosts were very welcoming and were... More

I stayed in many B&B's during a recent trip to Ireland. This was by far the most expensive for a single person for one night -early September - 75 Euro compared to 40 Euro in most other places. That apart- the room was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent as was the hospitality of the host (Brendan).

Stayed at this most lovely place called abbey court in the past and once again find it to be simply grand rooms bed shower and cleanliness is practiced here routinely but most appealing is irish charm presented by your man Brendan who will do what it takes to please most graciously and the breakfast is large and lovely then you... Really nice views and rooms. There was a nice big sitting room on the second floor right outside our room looking over a lake. We also had a view of the lake from our room. The room was nice and clean, the bathroom a little small but very serviceable. The walk into town is a little far but not too... More

This is a nice, charming little B&B offering all the basics. The hosts were welcoming and inviting. The breakfasts were skillfully prepared and delicious. The hosts also were helpful in outlining the interesting sights and the better dining places. The only issue is it is not walking distance to the action in Kenmare. The two main streets in Kenmare is... More

Stayed here for a night as a stopping point on the way to Dingle. It was a cute B&B with wonderful views. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very helpful providing directions to get to our end destination. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed with Geraldine and Brendan last night and had such a pleasant visit. They were both so kind and welcoming and pointed us in the right direction of town telling us about interesting things to see (Kenmare Stone Circle) and recommended the best restaurant that we've eaten at in all of Ireland (Mulcahys). They went above and beyond by... More
