If you are with a group of friends, a couple or even have teenagers in your group, you may find that The Coachman meets your needs but with younger children, it most definitely did not meet ours. The website is more than a stretch to represent this hotel as high-end and elegant. It is worn, the shower cleanliness was questionable,... More

Stayed at this hotel last week end. I booked this hotel on line. I had a query so I rang the hotel. Spoke to Padraig. He could not have been more polite and helpful. I didn't book in advance. Just a few days before our visit. On arrival we met Padraig in person. Couldn't have been more efficient. Booking in... More

We had a lovely stay here. Very large, comfortable rooms. Well equipped bathroom. Convenient location, right in the centre of the town, although parking can be a bit difficult. We experienced no problems with noise - be sure to ask for a room towards the back of the building and you'll be fine!

Went here recently to stay for a hen party. On the phone the owner was not the friendliest and therefore we did not know what to expect when we arrived. On arrival the owner could not of been more accomadating and helpful. We had champagne in the brides room before we went out and he provided glasses and ice to... More

We really liked this hotel! The location is in the center of town,so convenient. We had a large room, surprising large! at the front of the hotel over the pub. We were worried it would be too loud, not a problem. Music ended around 10:00. Pub food was great and the entertainment fabulous! I would definitely recommend.

Don't let them put you in room 23 overlooking the street unless you are planning to stay awake all night. Loud music across the street until 11:30, then street noise until midnight and beyond. Otherwise a perfectly nice hotel with decent rooms.

I have just returned from a weekend getaway with my partner in Kenmare and I am already planning a return. Our trips success was marginally due to our decision to stay in the Coachmans Townhouse. The hotel is in a cental location with an abundance of good restaurants, pubs and shops outside the door. In saying that, when it came... More

We stayed in June and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good. The room my husband and I had was in the rear and received the afternoon sun, at times a bit warm with no air conditioning but tolerable. My brother and his wife had a room over the... More

We stayed at the Coachmans Townhouse on out first night of an eight day mini-tour of Ireland. The place was exactly as we expected based upon Coachmans’ website and the many Tripadvisor reviews, except perhaps for our superior double room, which, while spacious, clean, and comfortable, was more utilitarian than luxurious. Nevertheless, a respectable room over an Irish pub was... More

We stayed here - a family of three - because we had planned to do some hill-walking nearby (we have stayed in various places in this area for years). We loved the downtown location near the restaurants. However, when we saw the weather forecast (not just wet, atrocious rain was due) we phoned the day before to see if we... More
