Located on Henry Street, I was impressed by the efficeny of the check-in and the courtesy of the staff. The bedroom was more than adequate with excellent air-con, excellent free WiFI and a very good shower. Dinner was excellent and full of flavour but breakfast was very poor. Trad music in the bar/restaurant was most entertaining. Parking was on the... More

The location is wonderful! however, I don't know if we just happened to get a lemon for a room or if they are all like this but... There were huge water stains on one wall as well as the ceiling and many stains on the very old dirty looking carpet. The room and bathroom were stark- no character whatsoever. We... More

I had two nights in the Coachmans and looking forward to returning. The hotel is in a prime position in the the town, it comfortably modern with a well set out bar and restaurant area supplying a good range of food, drinks and music. The bedrooms are very comfortably spacious and clean with a 'underfoot heated' bathroom, the bed was... More

I just returned from taking my mom on a trip to Ireland. We enjoyed the Coachmans! This is a countryside inn, with a pub on the ground floor and comfortable quiet rooms above. Reasons to stay here: -location, location, location -cute town, we walked to restaurants (great food choices), pubs, shops and ruins. It is also a great place to... More

We stayed here for one night as our final destination in kerry and we nearly died at the size of our room. Giant!! Huge bathroom too. It was room 12 at the very front of the hotel but i can guarantee that we did not hear a sound from the busy street outside despite the buzz about the place. Excellent... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. It was a good location and we could walk to most any place we wanted to go even though we had a rental car. We were able to park in the back alley after calling and finding exactly where we could do this. The room was a nice size and breakfast was good too.... More

I stayed here one night while on tour; my accommodations were fantastic! This hotel is central to the town. The bathroom had a walk in shower which was nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly as well. I'll definitely be back to stay again!

great location, Kenmare is very walkable, so this helped. No real lobby, checked-in with the bar staff in the pub, they seemed a little clueless. no onsite parking, so you'll have to search around the triangle of streets. Big rooms. Free wifi. Decently clean enough. The pub downstairs gets very loud at night with live rock music nightly, so be... More

The reviews here mix the hotel and the pub. The pub is excellent, good music and food. The hotel is so-so. The carpet in the hall is stained, which gives a bad first impression. Our room was quiet and spacious, but there was no hot water for showers!!! If you plan on a shower, think again before booking here.

The guy that runs this place is just full of buzz. He's attentive, polite and savvy. All key ingredients in running a successful restaurant. The food drinks and service as a result were also very good. The seats at the front offer the best atmosphere as they tend to be more for dining while those at the rear are for... More
