Kenmare is a lovey little town. Had a great time there. The rooms in the coachmans were huge. Great location and my aussie family enjoyed staying at a pub.they loved the trad music in the bar too. I would recommend to any one.

I had the pleasure of staying here while traveling with Vagabond tours. the hotel was Great and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Padraig the owner and bar keep was extremely knowledgable about Irish history and answered a few questions I had regarding my ancestory. while there the live performance was by "the worlds fastest fingers" can't remember his name.... We stayed here for 3 nights. The Coachmans Hotel is in the centre of KEnmare town. The rooms are absolutely beautiful, simple and elegant. Bathrooms are clean with tub and shower. Breakfast was tasty; especially the black pudding. We met a locals at the bar who assured us that The Coachman's was the best spot in town for music and... More

Me & my friends regularly go away for trips away around ireland but generally find it very hard to get accommodation where more than 2/3 is allowed. This is our 2nd time staying in this townhouse & we love it. We booked two rooms (4+4) & we could not believe the size of the rooms they were massive! We stayed... More

Rooms are very clean and newly re-furbished, swipe card to get in and for lights, good security. Good location right on the main street. We had a room right beside the smoking area of the bar so was a little noisy but not bad at all and I would say rooms further away would be silent! The only negative is... More

We didn't stay at the hotel but spent one evening having dinner and listening to live Trad music. Food was good and music was lovely. Some places don't have live music until later at night, around 9:00. The music at the Coachman's started at 7:00. After a busy day of sightseeing, the timing was perfect for us. It's a small... We stayed for 3 nights in a very large and comfortable family room with our two young children which worked brilliantly. The location is excellent being right in the middle of town and on the very attractive Henry Street. The hospitality and service was top class and we would fully recommend it as a great place to stay. We will... More

We stayed in the Coachman for 1 night and were sorry we couldn't stay longer. We were looking for somewhere central in Kenmare to stay and were less concerned about the standard of accommodation. Upon checking in, we were very impressed by our room, which was on a par with more expensive hotels we'd stayed in. There isn't much in... More

Popped in here for evening meal on a Wednesday night. Excellent local food, good beers, and a live band (including one of the staff who did a turn on the mike ;-) I would definitely come back to the Coachman's next time I am in Kenmare.

We stayed at this hotel over the All Ireland Football weekend. Manager at reception was very friendly and a smooth check in process. Rooms were of good proportions and well maintained. Good size bathroom with toiletries provided. Overall excellent value for money. If in Kenmare again we would stay here without doubt.
