We chose the Brook Lane as our base for the Ring of Kerry part of our 12 day Ireland trip to celebrate our 10th anniversary. I have to say, this was my favorite hotel of all the ones we stayed at in Ireland, and that included Ashford Castle. I was so happy we chose Kenmare as our base and not... more

The staff truly know their stuff and their advice re trips etc is well worth taking.Excellent cuisine,a wide choice of menu options didn't mean any compromise on quality.Owner-run and it shows! We felt like cherished invitees and we will definitely return.Don't miss the seafari,Ross and his crew will ensure a gorgeous trip along the bay,we counted 19 seals as they slumbered... more

I had high hopes of the Brook Lane and though it was fine I was a little disappointed in comparison to some of other places we stayed in Ireland (and considering the price EUR119). Our double room was on the ground floor facing the road outside which is very busy (the Kenmare is on the junction of two fairly main... more

I had my wedding reception in the Brook Lane in April, and i am so glad that i had it there, as it was perfect. Everyone was impressed with the food, it was beautiful. The staff couldn't do enough for us, getting us ready in the morning and taking photos of us, they were a brilliant help. They recommended an... more

My family of five just stayed at Brook Lane for 2 nights. It was great. Quiet, clean, super comfortable rooms. We had 2 rooms next to each other and they were huge! the breakfast was wonderful, fresh cut fruit, croissants, breads, cereals, yogurts, full cooked to order. Kenmare was a great town too. Just a short walk into town by... more

I stayed in this hotel with my girlfriend for three nights. The staff are extremely nice and very helpful. The food is out of this world. The rooms are big, spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. The only one problem is that there is no WiFi or internet access. more

We stayed for 2 nights at the Brook Lane Hotel. There was a path into Kenmare which only took about 10 minutes to walk and it was lit pretty well except for a small stretch. The breakfast provided was very good with plenty to select from on the buffet and then you were also provided with a menu to order... more

My entire family traveled to Ireland for my wedding and we all stayed at The Brook Lane Hotel. Siobhaun, Pat, Una, Mags, Goga, and Ann Maria were all outstanding. They took care of all our needs from pressing our clothes for the wedding to booking a DJ for the reception at the last minute. I even managed to break my... more
