The house is wonderfully kept, and contains a lot of personal items that make you feel welcome. Greta and Paul are great hosts. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed homemade scones, jam and marmalade with our traditional Irish breakfast. Paul is a very engaging conversationalist and provided very helpful advice on seeing the Ring of Kerry... More

Better check your wallet before booking in here. Make sure you and the owners have a clear understanding of what they are charging you! Oh and don't dare sit on the antique, heirloom furniture that you pass on the way up the stairs! Yes it is well presented but really how do they get away with charging such high prices,... More

Quiet, clean, comfortable bed and breakfast in Kenmare, near Ring of Kerry. Free parking on site. The real attraction is Paul, a jovial, witty conversationalist. Don't just eat and sleep here, engage with the owners.

We enjoyed 2 nights here. It was clean and comfortable and our hosts were very nice. Paul is very funny and was great offering tips and advice and answering our questions. Our room was on the 3rd floor and was quiet and attractive. The bed was comfortable. Greta asked if we would like coffee or tea in our room in... More

We had a pleasant afternoon and evening at this B&B. It was clean and quiet. Not fancy, but the owners were very pleasant and accomodating. Willow Lodge is conveniently located just a few blocks from downtown Kenmare, but not so close as to be noisy. A good value and a good stay.

This is a standard bed and breakfast at hotel prices. Basic in every way, breakfast made with the cheapest of ingredients, no toiletries and a stale biscuit offered with tea. For 50euros each we expected more. It was at least very clean and centrally located.

You're funny, knowledgeable, helpful; you make a good breakfast; we slept well; as I recall you gave me a welcoming tot of something- can't remember if it was a liqueur or whiskey; and you're funny. You put a good spin on the day. Keep doin what you're doin and ignore the grumps. Cheers oh, and it was actually june 2012... More

We stayed there in early August 2013, in 2 rooms (2 adults 2 kids). Rooms were spotless and large, well equipped. Read about price comments before and found indeed Kenmare is more expensive than Killarney - if you run on a tight budget you should pass through Kenmare (traffic is a pain anyway). Did not find this B&B overpriced though,... More

paul was very informative of the local places of interest and gave us good advice. Close to the town centre. The down side was no tea making facilities in the room. Room was noisy. The room also lacked the comforts (no face flannels) of an expensive B & B at 50 euros per person we felt this not value for... More

Myself and a few friends stayed at Willow lodge over the August weekend whilst attending a wedding in Kenmare, we were delighted to have been able to book accommodation together so close to the town. All was well with our stay, rooms comfortable and welcoming etc, until the next morning. Unfortunately it turns out that at this BnB there is... More
