Victoria Guesthouse is right in the middle of Kenmare (might not be ideal for anybody bothered by traffic noise). There is limited & restricted parking in front of the guest house. We parked around the corner in a public car park (free; opposite a petrol station, next to Garda). If the B&B proprietor is not at the reception area, there... More

We stayed here on June 28-29, 2015. This was a great and cost-effective stop during our tour of Ireland to see the sites and to play golf that we highly recommend. Admittedly, parking is limited near the guesthouse. Why? Because the location is quaint and awesome, with shops, restaurants, pubs and a nice golf course (Kenmare) within a 3-4 block... More

We took Rick Steves' advice and stayed in Kenmare rather than Killarney, and we're glad we did. Kenmare is a small, picturesque town with many restaurants, pubs and shops lining the two main streets. Virginia's is on one of those streets and is perfectly located for exploring the town. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but the room was just... More

Pleasant guest house. No parking, but we found a place on the street, right in front of virginia's. They no longer serve breakfast, but there is a very nice cafe across the street, the Bella Vita, which has a nice menu at reasonable prices. Virginia's is right in town and convenient to the southern entrance to the Ring of Kerry.... More

A couple weeks before we arrived we were notified that breakfast was no longer included. We were greeted by a kid who showed us our room, he was not the most helpful but told us what we needed to know. We didn't see Neil too much, just at check out and briefly in the lounge. Our room was very small... More

Definitely deserves the high rating. Stayed here for 1 night a couple of weeks ago and found the owner Neil exceptionally helpful and easy going. The place was clean, comfortable and a very reasonable price. Room had a comfy king bed, couch and was actually quite spacious. We were overlooking the street but noise was not an issue at all.... Very central location - right on one of the main streets - short walk away from town to the lovely harbour side! Comfy bed and nice showers. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Although there is no breakfast on offer, there is a nice communal living room with tea and coffees and hot chocolate!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Guesthouse! The location was perfect...downtown and very easy to jump on the Ring of Kerry. We were greeted when we got there and shown to our room. Very friendly! He even made us coffee and showed us the spots we shouldn't miss on the ring! Excellent stay!

Stayed here one night and it was enough. Nothing special, a basic room shown by the owner to the room but it seemed he was tired of answering the same questions....maybe got him on a bad day. No breakfast offered so had to get that in a nearby restaurant. No parking specifically for the premises.

First, to be clear, this is not a B&B but a guesthouse. There is no breakfast served, although there are breakfast places within easy walking distance. Still, remember to calculate that in the price of a visit. The guesthouse is on one of the main streets in Kenmare, so easy to find but a bit noisy on the street-side rooms.... More
