I love this place - Neil and Noreen accepted us with 2 hours notice (late in the season - 3rd week of Oct) and they were most helpful. The rate was so good we each got our own room. I got a king bed, a tv with MANY channels, a Bathroom with heated towel rack. The room was very large... more

This was the first B&B that we stayed in that was smack dab in the middle of town. That provided some good and bad things. Good: not having to drive anywhere; close to shopping and restaurants Bad: noisy Four of us traveled on the trip, and we had two rooms at Virginia's. My mom and her cousin were on the... more

My partner and I stayed at Virginia's for two nights at the end of August. It was a wonderful place to stay -- great location and super yummy breakfast. Neil and Noreen were great hosts! Kenmare is a great little town -- I would definitely recommend checking it out and staying at Virginia's. more

My husband, 17 year old son and I travelled around the coast of Ireland in July 2009. We stayed at many b&b's - and our favourite was Virginia's Guest House. It was our favourite because the owners, Neil and Noreen were absolutely amazing. They truly understand hospitality and service - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was the BEST... more

Location is probably the best in Kenmare, but during our trip we realized that being 5 minutes away from downtown is actually the best thing. We stayed at Virgina's for one night, hosts are friendly, if somewhat absent (they live in the other house). The room was very clean and sufficient, good value for the price. Breakfast was ok, nothing... more

My husband and I stayed two nights in October at Virginia's Guesthouse and we fell in love with this B&B. Neil and Noreen are the sweetest and kindest two people you could ever meet. The house is lovely, the breakfast is outstanding and the service is spectacular. The town of Kenmare is wonderful and Virginia's is in an ideal location... more

Very clean and modern B&B located in the heart of Kenmare. Hosts were very friendly and made us feel like family. If back in Kenmare, I'll be staying at Virginia's again. more

Noreen and Neil were great hosts and we truly enjoyed our stay at Virginia's. The rooms were quite clean and comfortable (how often do you see heated towel racks?!?!?), location perfect right in the heart of Kenmare and the breakfasts were exquisite. Although we had great breakfasts all over Ireland the veggie full Irish complete with vegetarian sausages were by... more

Hi, Myself and the misses went on a 4 day roundtrip of kerry in may, it didnt start great in killarney, although the town is beautiful, we found it had become very much a tourist trap, hotel we stayed in was very old fashioned, After staying in some nice places along the way, we decided to stop overnight in kenmare,... more
