St. Martin's was a great stay. Noreen, our host, was very sweet and friendly. The rooms were big and comfortable, and the restaurant next door is renowned for its fantastic menu. Breakfast was amazing! Kenmare is a great find, definitely visit here instead of Killarney. And book your stay at St. Martin's! more

We had an extremely nice stay here. Noreen and Neil were super friendly and very helpful--to include helping us with our bags. Our room, #14, was very large and included a towel warmer and heat lamp in the bathroom--we did not not have to use them in September--but some winter travelers might! The lighting in the bathroom was nice and... more

Just got back from a weekend getaway to the Ring of Kerry and Ring of Beara. This was a FANTASTIC B&B in such a great little town. The owners are the most friendly and accomodating people with lovely rooms and a great breakfast. I can't say enough good things about it or them. They even helped us plan our sight... more

We stayed here for two nights, great location right in downtown Kenmare, not bad to find parking on the street. The room was very plain, but very clean. Well heated. They had a nice library sitting room to make tea in and hang out and read. They live next door, but it's easy to get ahold of them or find... more

We remember this very nice couple from New York and are saddened that they didn't like their standard double ensuite room. Whilst we well understand the comments regarding B&B, we need to (again) point out that we are a State Registered Guesthouse and not a Family Home B&B. The reviewer is correct in saying that we do not live on...

Neil and Noreen run a wonderful establishment. Neil was extremely helpful upon checkin, showing us around and explaining all the ins & outs of their B&B. The food was absolutely fantastic. Noreen made the best banana pancake ever!!! Also, their juice and jams are all homemade -- try the zingy juice it has ginger in it... SO GOOD. The only... more

We arrived in the middle of a downpour and were happy to find Neil waiting to get us checked in and show us around the hotel. It has a comfortable sitting room with lots of books for r&r. Neil was more than helpful with suggestions for restaurants, gave us directions to find a bottle of wine and made arrangements for... more

Hotel room is nice but it is not like other B&Bs because the owners are absent. They don't live in the B&B and they are around only on specific times. Breakfast must be preorded the day before and you must let the owners know what time you will be having dinner. This is all a bit of an inconvenience. With... more

"Whilst we were very happy to see that this reviewer liked our accommodation and breakfast, we felt that some of the points made have painted a very unclear picture of how we run our business. This young couple arrived late on Friday night of the August Bank Holiday Weekend (the busiest weekend of the year) and left early the next...

Just back from spending a few days in Kenmare. We stayed in Virginia's for 2 nights. The location of it is perfect really central. There is only on the street parking but there is a free public car park next to the garda station not far away so that is where we parked. The room was lovely and clean with... more

This B&B is everything everyone said it would be!! From our warm reception, to the comfortable beds! The breakfasts were fantastic! I would stay there again. ( and again) I cannot think of one bad thing to say about this place. Stay you won't regret it! more

This is an interesting old home above the stores on the main street of Kenmare. The rooms were reasonable, however the bed was not the most comfortable of the 8 B&B's that we stayed in on our two week tour. Being over the restaurant on the main road also made it rather noisy at night. However, the hosts are very... more
