We've been there a couple of times, and we just love it. Ideally located, it's a very short walk from the town centre. It's very quiet and relaxing. Margaret is one of the nicest host I've ever met, the breakfast is amazing and the beds are so comfortable... I just want to go back there! A must stay in Ireland! More

The location was very good, little tricky to find, but only a very quick stroll into the middle of town. Having just cycled there Margaret gave us fantastic coffee and cookies, greatly appreciated! The rooms were nice and simple, no complaints (no TV but not an issue for us anyway). But the breakfast in the morning was probably the best... More

Beautiful, sunny guest house on a quiet tree-lined lane, but just a few minutes walk from the town center. Modern, uniquely decorated, immaculately clean, convenient location, gorgeous garden, nice patio with lovely view, delicious breakfast. Margaret was very helpful with directions and advice. Our room was much bigger than most, and the common sitting room is especially nice. This was... More

we loved the warm atmosphere and the country side and modern decoration. A change from very traditional irish decoration, more younger but still very comfortable. We loved the way we have been introduced and the friendly discussion. More

Margaret was very hospitable, it was a freezing cold day & she made us a cup of tea on arrival to warm us up !! The room is comfortableand large with a desk in it, which was great. A big bathroom with a skylight, though the shower was a little short. No television in the room, but there is WiFi... More

We were "drop ins"--no reservations, and we were treated great. Refreshments offered on arrival which was much appreciated after a long day. Easy walk to the downtown area and Margaret suggested a couple places for dinner. She was right on the mark as we had an excellent meal. Lovely decorations in the lounge, hall and breakfast areas. And, we were... More

Serene Riverville House is perched on a hill just a few minute’s walk from quaint Kenmare. Decorated with calming pieces of artwork and lovely furniture, the relaxing atmosphere is exemplified in the manner of the proprietor, Margaret. As a welcoming host, Margaret gives her guests enough breathing room to relax, but is also readily available to advise on the best... More

Passing through Kenmare than the Riverville House is a must! We stayed with Margaret and Fergus 10 years ago and it is still our number one stop when we come to Ireland. We will definitely return and highly recommend. Accommodating and friendly atmosphere they make your experience very enjoyable. More
