This was our third trip to Kenmare and Riverville House, has been the best value so far. I neglected to write down the directions (on the website) so we had a bit of trouble finding it so be sure to do this (or stop and ask locals like we did) and you'll have no problems. The room was spacious with... More

We had the most pleasant experience staying here. Margaret greeted us and offered up some coffee and biscuits which were greatly appreciated after a long day of driving The room was bright...the BEST shower I had in Ireland. Breakfast was great including excellent coffee. Margaret help us plan each days journey around the Ring of Kerry and Ring of Beara.... More

I have stayed with Margaret and Fergus before and their high standards of service always amaze me. From the welcome refreshments on arrival to the beautifully decorated and maintained house itself, from lovely crisp bed linen to the superb breakfasts (Fergus is an experienced Chef of some considerable standing) this is an example of hospitality to which all other B&Bs... The Riverville House was recommended by my cousin and we had not made reservations. We found the B&B after a little mishap on the Ring of Kerry and I was frazzled to say the least. Fergus, the owner, brought us in and made us welcome. The room was a nice size and well appointed. I was also assisted in fixing... More

We arrived late and it had been a cold, windy and rainy day. Margaret made us a large pot of tea with the best biscuits, and had us relax in the very comfortable homey private lounge. We relaxed and warmed up and Margaret answered questions about the area and the potato famine. The room was very very nice and breakfast was... More

Riverville is a gem! It was very nice to leave the car at the B&B and walk into town - there is a small path across the stream that takes you into town in less than 5 minutes. The home is lovely - clean, well decorated with art everywhere. The hosts' style is very welcoming. We arrived needing help with... More

Riverville is in a quiet location but also very handy to the town centre where there were good options for an evening meal. The B&B is very clean and modern. Our room was a good size and had one of the best showers on our 6 week trip to Britain and Ireland. Margaret is an excellent hostess providing a very... More

Good location this stylish B&B gives a sense of relaxed richness. Roomy enough with comfortable beds and clean cheerful décor. The hosts are friendly and helpful and make a stunning breakfast to start your day off. A lovely area with an easy walk away from the bustle of little Kenmare. A good experience for all. Ken

We've been there a couple of times, and we just love it. Ideally located, it's a very short walk from the town centre. It's very quiet and relaxing. Margaret is one of the nicest host I've ever met, the breakfast is amazing and the beds are so comfortable... I just want to go back there! A must stay in Ireland!

The location was very good, little tricky to find, but only a very quick stroll into the middle of town. Having just cycled there Margaret gave us fantastic coffee and cookies, greatly appreciated! The rooms were nice and simple, no complaints (no TV but not an issue for us anyway). But the breakfast in the morning was probably the best... More
