We had a great room, plenty of space and nicely decorated. It was an easy distance in a car to the centre of Kenmore, good parking and a lovely garden. I was tracking my family history and Julie had done some research for me and had a magazine with information when we arrived. Breakfast was lovely and the room bright... More

The guest Hostess made us completely comfortable. Tea in the afternoon, a very warm and comfortable room. A ride in to town for weary travelers, lovely breakfast in the morning. Beautiful property with a river in the back.

Julie was a very hospitable hostess. She served us tea, coffee and cake upon our arrival. She sat and talked to us and gave us a lot of information that was very helpful. Our breakfast was delicious. Either an Irish breakfast or a selection of omlets with various cheeses, spinach or savory with bacon and cheese. Our bed was very... More

Tired from a long day walking the Kerry Way, this a great place to refresh oneself. The rooms were spacious and clean, the "fill-in" hostess a delight. She drove us into town so we could buy dinner before the restaurants closed, as we were so late arriving. Several of us walked back to the B&B after dinner; it wasn't far,... More

Welcoming host and charming, comfortable double room with spacious bathroom. There is also a guest sitting room , as well as outdoor table and chairs in a sunny spot. Property is beside a shallow river and set well back from the road, just a 12 minute walk to town (torch useful in dark). Breakfast options included a delicious feta and... More

I stayed here one night with my wife as a starting point for the Ring of Kerry drive. Kenmare is a very good base for exploring the Ring of Kerry, I'd recommend staying here for a couple days if you plan on doing things around the area. This B&B is in walking distance to downtown Kenmare. Nobody was home when... More

Our two night stay at An Bruachan was perfect! After a three-hour drive to Kenmare, Julia greeted us with coffee, lemon cake, and a lovely chat. We stayed in a quite roomy triple upstairs that was clean, simple and quaint-exactly what my friends and I wanted in our Ireland B&B stays. The grounds were a park-like setting with a picturesque babbling... More

My family and I stayed just one night at this charming B & B and really enjoyed it. We could hear the sound of the running water in the nearby brook, which was very soothing. The hostess was personable and the service was terrific. The breakfast was delicious; I particularly love strong coffee and they had the best! I really... More

We had such a great time at this B&B. Julia exudes warmth and kindness. We were cold when we arrived at the B&B and she gave us coffee, tea, and lemon cake in the sitting room while she got to know us better. It really feels like you are at home. We had a wide variety of breakfast options to... More

Without doubt our best BnB experience in Ireland. Julia was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. it's only a short walk to the town centre yet the house's position is very quiet and set back from the road. It was so nice to have breakfast options other then "Full Irish", the fetta and spinach omelette was spot on! Great job Julia,... More
