Without doubt our best BnB experience in Ireland. Julia was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. it's only a short walk to the town centre yet the house's position is very quiet and set back from the road. It was so nice to have breakfast options other then "Full Irish", the fetta and spinach omelette was spot on! Great job Julia,... More

An excellent place to stay, highly recommended; very very clean, very comfortable large bed, good space in the room and large en suite bathroom. The proprieter, Julia, and staff member, Eithne, were extremely warm, friendly, welcoming and helpful; they make you feel at home. Lovely garden with seating area outside and plenty of parking space. Very reasonably priced.

We recently stayed here for two nights with a family of three. An Bruachan is just an excellent B&B. Our room was spacious for three adults and the location could not have been better. We were greeted by Julia and offered refreshments which we had down by the lovely stream that runs through the back of the property. The property... More

We were sent here from our overbooked B&B and what a lovely surprise! The hostess was kind, the rooms large, and the grounds are stunning! The home sits on a lovely river and is set amidst a beautiful flower garden with riverside walking path. I will definitely return as it was one of my favorite stays in Ireland!

Julia provides a large room and bathroom .The B & B is set back from the highway so you hear very little traffic .Lots and lots of parking .She is an outstanding host and cook and, just a charming individual .The B & B guest seating room is located down the hall and away from the bedrooms.Because of the seating... The An Bruachan ( Irish for river) B & B will satisfy travellers seeking a pleasant place of comfort, great hospitality and service. This B & B is set in a delightful garden next to a babbling river. The breakfast was excellent and guests can request what they want. This B & B would be an excellent accommodation for a... More

A really delightful experience overall. The room was a good size, bathroom comfortable and roomy (for a change) and thank you Julia, there is a mirror near the power point and hair dryer ( a "girl thing" I know) the room and bathroom were both heated. The window overlooks a lovely garden area and is right next to an amazing... More

When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the proprietor Julia. We had a nice chat, put our things in our lovely room and then walked downtown. The room was comfortable and clean. The river behind the B&B was very soothing and contributed to a great nights sleep. In the morning we were served a delicious breakfast.

Julia and this B and B were phenomenal. We were greeted with tea and scones, as well as open arms. We enjoyed the short walk into town for dinner and drinks, as well as exploration. The launderette in town did a wonderful job on our clothes and was quite reasonably priced. Breakfast was nice, with a more choices than other... More

Just back from a weekend in the very quaint and beautiful Kenmare. Our stay in An Bruachan made the weekend a special one thanks to the hospitality of Julia, the B&B owner, who made it feel like we were staying in a home away from home. The rooms are spotless and spacious, the breakfast was delicious, and the B&B is... More
