I love my first visit to Republic of Ireland and of all the accommodation we chose to stay in, I especially was so glad I chose The Lodge in Kenmare. From the service staff to the Manager, everyone was just so helpful and so very kind. They were so generous with their time in explaining and sharing best places to... More

The majestic stairwell lined with oil paintings set our expectations for our room. We weren't disappointed. Rich, romantic colors, in a spacious room. Antique wooden furnishings, including the four poster king bed. Quiet and restful, even though the town experienced an historic windstorm event. An outstanding Full Irish Breakfast completed a memorable stay.

The Lodge is a stylish, comfortable guesthouse. We usually do the hotel thing but decided to give this guesthouse a try instead. We were delighted we did. The friendliness of the staff and owner was great and we felt we got the personal touch that is sometimes missing in a hotel. The rooms were comfortable and spotless and the bed... More

The Lodge was warm and friendly. Rosemarie was delightful, warm and friendly. It is just a short walk from town, across the street from the golf club and an ideal location to use as a base to explore the Ring of Kerry and Killarney National Park. The breakfast was great, homemade and a wonderful way to start off each day.... More

The Lodge was ok but a bit impersonal, there was a feeling of not really being able to touch anything ! Bed linen did not seem to fit the bed which was a little uncomfortable. Very clean and an excellent location.

kenmare is a super place to visit. great food, scenery, but can be expensive. the lodge at €80 for B&B for 2 in peak summer is great value. 5 mins walk from town centre. parking and wifi available free. rooms are beautiful. breakfast includes home-made bread and scones. highly recommended.

Sorry about the late review but better late than never ! Stayed for one night last year for my boyfriends birthday, arrived at our room and the owner had a box of butlers chocs and a card in the room for him, it really was a fantastic and touching thing to do. The room was really unusual and really comfy... More

We will definitely be back! Beautiful accommodations and wonderful breakfast. The staff is wonderful. The B&B is walking distance to the heart of Kenmare. Kenmare is the perfect Irish town. Very quiet. Nice surroundings. Can't say enough good things about The Lodge!

We stayed for one night before we started to hike the Beara Way. The room was magical. It was large, clean and decorated beyond belief. The en-suite bath was large with a wonderful soaking tub and shower. The breakfast was served in a beautiful room and the staff was extremely friendly. The owner, Rosemary, took time to ask about our... More

Just 10 minutes walk from town centre. Lovely guest house. Big car park at the side of the main building. Spacious, comfortable room with all amenities. Staff were most welcoming and a great source of advice on where to eat, drink and visit during our two night stay. Breakfast was very good and freshly cooked. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here...
