Room was lovely and big, bathroom was lovely and big too, huuuge bed! Ask for a room not beside the street though as the noise would be slightly annoying at times! But staff were nice :) Didn't have breakfast, but was all included and very reasonable price (90 for the room)

Stayed one night as a guest with some friends. The location -Main Street- is excellent when taking in the Ring of Kerry & Beara Peninsula or just for shopping. Comfortable- not lavish- with good food and local staff who were friendly and efficient. The Lansdowne Arms has been part of Kenmare life since the early 1800,s and was originally the... More

Stumbled across the Lansdowne Arms on our tour around Ireland. We can highly recommend this venue in all aspects - cleanliness, food, service, comfort, location and price. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable queen sized bed and pleasant decor.

Centrally located in Kenmare , very nice clean room. Excellent breakfast - I tried the porridge instead of the standard full breakfast and it was great(also had a decent lunch there). Paid 80 euros for a double room . Comfortable lounge area with WiFi. Parking lot too. Great value.

We got a bit stuck after finding The Sheen Falls fully booked, but the Lansdowne could not have been more helpful. Nice room, no view, but no matter, beautiful little town with lots of interesting shops & restaurants & you are right in the middle of it. The music in the bar was excellent, good friendly crowd. The breakfast was... More

We booked this hotel during the busiest weekend in Kenmare’s calendar. 3 weeks before our holiday dates there was No family rooms available in Kenmare. This hotel was fully booked. But Anne showed great empathy in my difficulty getting a room for our holiday and offered to contact all her reservations and confirm all bookings. She explained that it may... More

Hotel is at the end of one of the main streets. Only 10 - 15 parking spots are available for guests which I suspect employees take up several of them. We stayed in room 107 in the old section. Room was clean & was a nice size but very plain. Safety was poor. Door to the back entrance of the... More

Perfect location in town centre with on site parking. Great choice and quality for breakfast. Wifi only available in reception area. Staff very friendly and attentive. Choice of bars in the small family run hotel, large enough to be a hotel but small enough to care about you. Furnishings in the public rooms is very grand. Rooms are adequate.
