Just back from honeymoon. Got married in Kenmare and had the reception in the Kenmare Bay Hotel. Fantastic experience. The wedding guys (Tom and Andrew) played blinders. Guided things along nicely and always at hand to make sure everything going to plan. The food was excellent and the overall atmosphere was superb. Staff on the ball at all times and... more

It's not often that I write reviews about places, but having just spent a lovely weekend down in the Kenmare Bay Hotel I feel the place warrents it!! I took my wife away as a surprise for our 5th wedding anniversary, and chose Kenmare as we have never been there and love trying new places. I was not disappointed with... more

We came here for a weekend away. When we arrived we were shown to our room wich was average but clean. The bathroom was new, wich always feels good! We spent some time in the pool, and a treat was the childrens pool which our year old daughter enjoyed so much we had trouble getting her out of it! Dinner... more

Went to visit friends in Kerry and were recommended this hotel as it was close to everything. Have to say our stay was top class, from the minute we arrived we were made feel welcome. Told of all the facilities in the hotel, leisure centre and everything. Decided to have food in the bar when we arrived because we were... more

We stayed in the hotel over the last weekend in August 09. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautiful and very clean, well maintained by staff. The views and locale of the hotel were breathtaking being in the vicinity of the Ring of Kerry and Kenmare Town centre. Highly recommended to all!!!! Especially families... more

My wife and I love to walk / hike and because of this Kenmare is one of our favorite destinations for a weekend break of walking and relaxing. The location of this hotel is excellent as it is very close to the town centre, there is a pathway that leads from the hotel towards the town. The hotel itself very... more

Horrible Experience: English girl with blonde hair at reception tried to overcharge us. Pete the Barman was absolutely horrible throughout our meal and in general the staff made this uncomfortable. more

12 of us stayed here as part of a hill walking tour of Kerry and it was marvellous, the food in the hotel was outstanding and quality and service did not suffer even when the dining room was full. The rooms and leisure centre were top class and the location was as close to the town centre as you would... more

We stayed for 3 nights b&b with one evening meal in a superior room midweek. Overall the hotel itself looked very nice, was quite clean and we enjoyed the gym and leisure centre. The problem was the service in the restaurant and the restaurant itself. Morning one for breakfast was fine.... not too many dining so maybe that was why!!!... more

We stayed in the Kenmare Bay Lodges - never saw the inside of the hotel so can't comment on that. The Lodges were beautifully decorated with everything you could think of laid on. more
