We came here for a weekend away. When we arrived we were shown to our room wich was average but clean. The bathroom was new, wich always feels good! We stayed in the hotel over the last weekend in August 09. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautiful and very clean, well maintained by staff. We stayed for 3 nights b&b with one evening meal in a superior room midweek. Overall the hotel itself looked very nice, was quite clean and we enjoyed the gym and leisure centre. The problem was the service in the restaurant and the restaurant itself. Morning one for breakfast was fine.... not too many dining so maybe that was why!!!... more

We stayed in the Kenmare Bay Lodges - never saw the inside of the hotel so can't comment on that. The Lodges were beautifully decorated with everything you could think of laid on. more
