WE had a three night break for two in the Kenmare Bay Hotel and found it was a great place to stay when tripping around the lakes and mountains of Kerry. The hotel room was lovely and breakfast was very good (apart from the morning that our barely touched breakfast was cleared off teh table when we went to get... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in September 2014. The rooms are basic, single glazed windows and a storage heater. They are clean and comfortable tho. One problem was the room doors are extremely loud when they are closing(it's not possible to close them quietly) can be annoying if you are trying to sleep in. The restaurant and bar food is... More

We had a lovely room on the first floor. No air conditioning but leave the window open and it is comfortable. Heated bathroom floor and this hotel has a bath and separate shower, very nice, very clean. Room had a full bed and a single bed, very spacious. Don't forget to put your room key into the wall socket for... More

room was small and basic, but clean and acceptable. Nothing good nothing bad to say really. Mid week break for two for 78 eur with breakfast. say there would be better b&bs out there for rooms. Had use of the pool and sauna and the breakfast was good.

This was our first year to use Kenmare for the Rugby Legends Cycle, over 150 cyclists, 30 support staff, media and Rugby Legends. Big thanks you to the team at the Kenmare Bay, everyone from the General manager, front desk, catering team, top marks for handling all our logistics and for a job well done.. Can't leave without mentioning the... More

We stayed here for 4 nights while attending a wedding. Room - Bed wasn't very comfortable, there were small spiders in the room. TV was about 22 inches and the quality was poor. We tried to turn the radiator off in our room one night and we had to call the receptionist, he could only do it from the fuse... More

For such a large hotel this really was a let down. To be fair the receptionist on the day was very pleasant and helpful. On the day itself there was a wedding on and the wedding clan were basically EVERYWHERE in the hotel including every parking spot within a mile of the place. I find it incredibly irritating that Hotels... More

My husband and O stayed here for a wedding last weekend. Thurs through to Sunday. In fairness we got a great deal, EUR 207 for the 3 nights. For that price you can't really expect 5 star luxury but the hotel room was disappointing. Very old, could really do with an update. The bed was very uncomfortable and as a... More

This is an excellent hotel in a great location and is clean and bright but most of all it is very well run with mannerly, competent and cheerful staff. Would highly recommend. great shortcut into town, spotless pool (if a little cold) breakfast really delicious and fantastic choice

We stayed here for two nights, with two rooms. The area is absolutely beautiful and we used this as a base to explore. Unfortunately the Hotel was very average. Beds are only double, at 5"7 (not tall) I was hanging off the end and so endured terrible nights sleep. Rooms were utilitarian, and very tired looking. They need a good... More
