Basic rooms with TV and other facilities, Clean but maybe a little aged (character?) and friendly staff. Price was reasonable. They serve food in the evenings in the pub downstairs which fit the bill as I didn't feel like travelling around to try and find someplace else.

The WolfMann first spotted this place doing a Google Street View tour of Kenmare. The setting is just as charming in real life. You can't see the hotel exterior, because there is none--just a doorway to the left of O'Donnabhain's Pub that you see in all the pictures. The hotel is long and narrow, stretching 50 or 60 m to... We had a great one night stay here. The bedroom was a very nice size, very clean and looked new/modern, like it had been updated recently. Bed was comfy. Thought it was a great value for our money. We rolled in a little late the evening of our stay, and ate at the pub downstairs. It was delicious. Had the... More

Fairly nice guesthouse above an interesting little pub in Kenmare. The room was large and clean although patchy wifi reception upstairs. It was quiet despite being so close to the pub. The staff were nice although a bit distracted by the big County Kerry vs Donegal game that was happening - very exciting atmosphere! Good breakfast in the morning. There... More

Came into town and looked for a B&B. Found this place on a booking website for a great price. Devised to just stop in, and got the room €12 cheaper. Huge room, very clean, great restaurant, friendly staff, and bad Irish coffee... But no worse than anywhere else! Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here our first night in Ireland and had everything we were looking for after a long day of traveling- nice room, great shower (with a large tub), and we could just walk downstairs for dinner and live music. The local mussels in the pub were amazing, as was the full breakfast the next morning. It is right in... More

We scheduled here last minute and were SO glad that we did! Nice room and lovely staff. We ate a great dinner in the hotel. Wandered around town a bit afterwards, but quickly returned to O'Donnabhain's bar because it was the best place. Staff gave us a ton of advice on where to go and what routes to take to... More

I booked the family room for two nights for a group of four adult women. The room was incredibly spacious and had three huge skylights in a half vaulted ceiling that were just lovely. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Being in the middle of town was a real treat. The only complaint we could have was the shower... More

I was pleased To find the room was much nicer than most of the pub/hotel rooms I have been in on this tour. You couldn't find A nicer staff. I enjoyed a very nice ring of bara trip which is out the back door of Kenmare. I highly recommend this stay!
