Therese is a wonderful host and a very welcoming and excellent example of Ireland's superb hospitality. From the time of booking throughout our two night stay, she couldn't have done more to make us feel comfortable and welcome. She even spent time with us sharing her thoughts on everything from the effect of the euro on the Irish economy to... More

Wonderful place to stay. Rooms are spacious clean and a great view from our room, overlooking the hills. Free Wi Fi. Host are very friendly and easy to talk to. It is 1.6 kms from town or a 25min walk. Would come back again.

Back again to visit Therese for another great stay. The rooms, breakfast and hospitality were great as always as were the scones. The weather was a disaster so we camped out in the lounge for one of the days, a great selection of music cds to choose from to brighten up our lazy day. We're looking forward to our next... More

Therese is wonderful!! As we have found nearly ALL of our hostesses all over Ireland during the course of two separate 2-week driving vacations, Therese is the very best of what we love about Ireland.......the charming, friendly, accommodating people who live there!! So helpful, so un-rushed (plenty of time for us, and for our many questions!!) The B&B itself is... More

We were fortunate to be directed to Mrs O Shea by the information in town. We arrived early and were allowed to leave our luggage. Although busy we were served coffee and cake and a lovely welcome. The ensuite was clean and comfy with huge windows some of which opened which was a big plus in the warm weather, although as... More

I had been trying to find a nice b & b for a small break away and through the jigs and the reels we found this gem. We were greeted with tea and biscuits which is the kind of personal touch that is lost in hotels and instantly makes you feel right at home. We were given great advice on... More

My mom, sister, and I stayed one night at O'Shea's in Kenmare last week, and ideally would have booked more time there. We were greeted with tea and chocolates, and sent away in the morning with a full Irish breakfast. The location was perfect, as it was on our route through the Ring of Kerry. It's a walkable distance from... More

We stayed with the O'Shea family for three nights in June with our two children and mother-in-law. It is very conveniently located just outside Kenmare on the Ring of Kerry and provided a great base for touring the Beara Peninsula and Killarney National Park. We stayed in the family room with our children which was very spacious and comfortable. The... More

Lovely B&B with scenic views. The owner was very friendly and very helpful pointing out the local points of interest. The breakfast was great and lasted us for most of the day. The accommodations were also very clean.
