We got married here at the end of August and there is not enough superlatives to describe how great it was. From the outset John was a great help, offering assistance and advise. On the day and in the lead up they could not do enough to help in terms of set up etc and nothing seemed too much! Everything... More

Myself and my husband visited Dromquinna manor for a weeding last weekend. I must say that the whole experience was amazing. This is a fantastic location for a wedding. Beautiful scenery and romantic setting. The staff were all local, very friendly and excellent attention to detail. We had an artizan platter to start (AMAZING and COOL) pumpkin soup, followed by... Dear Snooooze, You are so good to write such a post on Trip Advisor. We are delighted you enjoyed the wedding and found what we do so special. Picking a wedding venue is a big decision for a couple and especially Dromquinna as 90% of people travel many miles to be here to celebrate with their friends. All we do... More

spent the night here with my girlfriend and it was so relaxing and quite. Loved the idea of having a large tent that can stand up in, large bed which was very comfy. Lovely decking outside which has a really nice view overlooking the Bay. The staff are very helpful in attending to your needs and so polite. The camping... More

Stayed in our campervan at Dromquinna Manor a couple of weeks ago and honestly couldn't fault it. The facilities were fantastic. A lovely fire lit at night time with plenty of picnic tables and a BBQ area. My two boys were thrilled with toasting marchmallows on the fire. If it rains at night a lovely room for children with games,... More

My husband and I just visited the glamping at Dromquinna for a wedding. As a wedding venue the location, manor house and grounds are beautiful. The manor house is well maintained and there are good amenities on the property. We found the glamping tents clean with a comfortable bed and they are spacious. There is a kitchen, laundry room, showers... More

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend of glamping. The tents were marvellous particularly liked comfy beds and hot water bottles supplied to all. It was a great way to bring the family camping while getting a rest for yourself. The views from the tents were breath taking and loved the touch of croissants and coffee on your deck... More

Many thanks for your great review. Delighted you enjoyed your stay and yes the simple things like toasting marshmallow make the happiest memories. As for fishing off the pier it passes an hour and occupies the kids but i wouldn't live in hope of catching dinner. The Boathouse is a safer bet!! Hope the remainder of your summer holidays went... Many thanks for your kind words. All the team are really chuffed and it makes it so much easier when we get such feedback. Over 5000 people have slept in our tents since we opened so the few comments about noise are the exception. We make no secret that we hold weddings and there are bands playing which can be... More

Overall a wonderful location & facility & regardless of advice about weddings and noise you are not told that the Manor is right beside the tents and you may as well be a room above a function room as regards noise a total contradiction bands start at 10pm at the earliest until well into the early hours & you are... Thanks for your review. It is not the truth to say the Manor is beside the tents. You cannot even see the Manor from the tents but you are correct in saying we informed you of weddings and potential noise. As you can see from other reviews it is not an issue for some people but we do appreciate and... More

Many thanks for your review. It is great to know you enjoyed your stay. You are right about the beds, we actually sold 5 mattresses this year already. They are soooo comfy. At just E165.00 per night it was only ok. Must admit having WiFi is great and a very pleasant surprise having it there. But I do think they should have sockets for all tents. Many thanks for your review and staying with us. We dont disagree with you regarding sockets in the tents. As you know we do have bedside lights and lights in the sitting area but on two occasions the canvas was burned with hair dryers and tongs when we did have sockets in the tents. Having one socket is the same... More
