My husband and I just visited the glamping at Dromquinna for a wedding. As a wedding venue the location, manor house and grounds are beautiful. The manor house is well maintained and there are good amenities on the property. We found the glamping tents clean with a comfortable bed and they are spacious. There is a kitchen, laundry room, showers... More

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend of glamping. The tents were marvellous particularly liked comfy beds and hot water bottles supplied to all. It was a great way to bring the family camping while getting a rest for yourself. The views from the tents were breath taking and loved the touch of croissants and coffee on your deck... More

Many thanks for your great review. Delighted you enjoyed your stay and yes the simple things like toasting marshmallow make the happiest memories. As for fishing off the pier it passes an hour and occupies the kids but i wouldn't live in hope of catching dinner. The Boathouse is a safer bet!! Hope the remainder of your summer holidays went... Having returned home from Dromquinna a few weeks ago I have to say I still dream of it, my own bed will never be the same again, The staff were simply fantastic so lovely to talk to there were 2 as far as we saw anyway who both greeted us with smile and had lots to tell us about the... More

Many thanks for your kind words. All the team are really chuffed and it makes it so much easier when we get such feedback. Over 5000 people have slept in our tents since we opened so the few comments about noise are the exception. We make no secret that we hold weddings and there are bands playing which can be... More

Overall a wonderful location & facility & regardless of advice about weddings and noise you are not told that the Manor is right beside the tents and you may as well be a room above a function room as regards noise a total contradiction bands start at 10pm at the earliest until well into the early hours & you are... Thanks for your review. It is not the truth to say the Manor is beside the tents. You cannot even see the Manor from the tents but you are correct in saying we informed you of weddings and potential noise. As you can see from other reviews it is not an issue for some people but we do appreciate and... More

We went camping mid July. We had the weather which helped a lot. We really enjoyed the experience and my children aged 13, 10 and 5 loved it, We really did it for them. Accomodation was good and the beds were very comfotable and cosy. The showers and loo facilities excellent and very clean. The view was fantastic. We ate... More

Many thanks for your review. It is great to know you enjoyed your stay. You are right about the beds, we actually sold 5 mattresses this year already. They are soooo comfy. We are working on the phone charger situation. We know it is a pain but as you say our experience on more than one occasion was not funny... More

At just E165.00 per night it was only ok. Must admit having WiFi is great and a very pleasant surprise having it there. But I do think they should have sockets for all tents. They had said that someone nearly burnt a tent down with curling irons or hairdryers but leaving phones or things that need to be charged at... More

Many thanks for your review and staying with us. We dont disagree with you regarding sockets in the tents. As you know we do have bedside lights and lights in the sitting area but on two occasions the canvas was burned with hair dryers and tongs when we did have sockets in the tents. Having one socket is the same... More

If you are thinking about Glamping in Dromquinna there is only one question to ask when booking. That is 'Is there a wedding on during our stay'. If the answer is yes then I would recommend you do not stay there. The website does advise that it is a wedding venue and bands will play. However the noise level is... More

Many thanks for your honest review. We try our best to inform people of weddings at weekends, which we have every weekend during the summer. We have it on all camping pages of our web site, on confirmation emails and advise telephone bookings when reservations are made. We would love to have you back as it is idyllic and a... More

we are just back from an overnight stay in Dromquinna and my hubbi will have a job getting to to do ordinary camping after the experience. We absolutely loved everything. Arrived at Dromquinna Camp site on a sunny glorious day, sat outside the tent and soaked up the suroundings, we had a table booked for that evening in the Boathouse restaurant, on the way to the restaurant we noted a wedding party had arrived at the Manor, following one of the nicest meals we have had in a long time,... We stayed here last Saturday and thankfully there was no weddings on and the weather was fantastic so it couldn't have been a better setting.
