My husband and I stayed at many nice hotels in England, Wales, and Ireland in May and the Ard na Sidhe was our favorite. Initially we were concerned when we used Google maps to look at the small road it was on, but when we actually drove to the hotel, the road was better than many small roads we had... More

Was so looking forward to our stay!Downhill from there. The garden rooms have none of the character of the old house. Dinner was ok, no atmosphere may suggest some soft clasical music so you don't have to listen to other conversations. House is beautifully furnished and the setting is outstanding, but it just lacks that something. Breakfast was ok nothing... More

After driving for the first time overseas on a long trip from Dublin, we arrived at about 8pm very tired and hungry to this paradise by the lake. The hotel is a bit off the main roads and you had better have good directions or a gps to find it. The hotel is a converted mansion situated on a very... More

We booked into Ard na Sidhe 7 months ahead of time as I noted it was a small country inn. The directions to it from their website are really quite accurate but I must admit it is a bit of a challenge to find and it is a very narrow and remote road into the hotel. Once you are there... More

Magical setting, magnificent scenery, really peaceful - no mobile phone coverage so they let you use the phone in your room for free - nice touch. The hotel furnishings, ambience and friendliness of staff was all excellent, the service could be a little sharper. Our room was bright, modern and very comfortable with access to the garden, unfortunately on our... More

We visited this lovely hotel for tea the end of May. Its setting in the quiet countryside is gorgeous. The rooms are elegant and comfortable. The tea with scones, sandwiches, parfaits, etc. was amazing (now I know the joys of clotted cream). Next time, we'll stay over.

Our family spent two nights at Ard na Sidhe during our two week vacation in Ireland this August. Hands down, this was our favorite place. The staff was very warm and accommodating and Jennifer, the manager, was an outstanding representative of the property. Everything about the experience was memorable--the rooms had lovely views, comfortable beds and bedding, and all the... More

Exquisite property, perfect service. Idyllic. My mother and I stayed at Hotel Ard na Sidhe for two nights out of our two week trip through Ireland, and they were by far our best. After arriving late one night, the staff was more than accommodating in showing us two room choices, and then serving tea and scones to relax us from... More
