We stayed here for 2 nights on a good special offer so rate was very reasonable for what we got- the absolute perfection in service, food, accommodation and company. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or interested and nothing was too much trouble. Even breakfast earlier than the opening time for the restaurant wasn't a problem. And to top... More

A group of us with old and interesting cars stayed at Carrig for 2 nights and we all loved it. Frank and Mary and the team made us incredibly welcome plus the food was fantastic. The views from the hotel rooms are to die for and the lovely little sitting rooms and warm fires were a great place for us... More

We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at Carrig House. We particularly liked meeting the son of Frank and Mary and getting his suggestions for pubs and restaurants in the area. The sitting rooms are warm and comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed an after-dinner drink and a good book by the fire. A review would be incomplete without mentioning the... More

We had visited the area many years ago and always wished we had visited Caragh Lake house. Our wish came true last friday and we stayed in this lovely old house. It is charming with the most spectacular views of the lake. Our bedroom window overlooked the lake and what a view to wake up to! We had dinner in... More

Incredibly lovely! Owners are your hosts. Great value as we had massages, dinners and breakfasts included. There is no bar/tap so you must travel for your pint. There are cocktails, wine and canned beer available but not a pub to hang out.
