When you arrive you first get a coffee or tea and self-made muffins. Really tasty! The room was furnished with love for the detail and very clean (like the whole house). There was a fire place in the living room, so we had an cosy evening. But the best was the breakfast. You can choose out of different types of... More

We stayed, 5 hikers, in Sheila's top class hotel. We highly enjoyed the professional service and care. Every need was immediately fulfilled, with such nice hospitality. The facility as a whole was far beyond our expectations. We will return next year, this time with our wives.

I spent a night at Castle House this summer and ended up returning twice for more of Sheila and her husband's warm hospitality. Every need was taken care of in a relaxed atmosphere with top class rooms and breakfast (I'm converted to porridge after tasting Sheila's!). No doubt I'll return again soon.

We enjoyed our stay more in Castlegregory so much I need to go back! It is a shame we only had 1 night to spend there on our full schedule! Sheila and her husband are wonderful, the rooms are spotless, bright and cheerful, location is a 10+ for us being right along the Dingle Way and right in town for... More

We stayed with Sheila at the Castle House B&B in Castlegregory on September 18, 2014. This is a beautifully appointed B&B with many antiques. We walked in from many miles of walking on the Dingle Way and thought we were entirely too dirty and messy for such a lovely and formal spot. However, Sheila immediately served us tea in the... Great bedroom and modern facilities, lovely lounge with fresh-baked treats and tea, warm and engaging hostess. Best smoked salmon breakfast I had in Ireland. Sheila is a delightful person and total pro. Dingle Way walker friendly! We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the beach walking around town.

Many B&B's are described as homely, but Sheila, the host of Castle House, takes this to a new level. We were a group of 10 European guitar makers visiting the local workshop of renowned guitar maker Chris Larkin. On arrival at the hotel we were warmly welcomed by Sheila with a cup of tea/coffee and a delicious apple tart and... More

We received a warm welcome and a tray of tea and home made scones, all of which were great after a long day's walk on the Dingle Way. Our rooms were very comfortable and clean, and after a restful night, we were treated to a sumptuous breakfast. Probably the best b and b I've stayed in. Sheila is a gracious... More
