If you are looking for Irish hospitality at its finest, look no further than Millstream House. Nora and Jim are the perfect hosts and nothng is too much trouble for them. Our room was modern and spotless and could not be faulted while Nora's legendary breakfasts ensured we were set up for the day. We would have no hesitation in... More

My daughter and I spent one night with Jim and Nora. We were made to feel at home and enjoyed tea and cake , chocolate biscuit cake, in the kitchen with them. Stay here if you want to experience true Irish hospitality.

my husband and I were attending a funeral in the area when I came across this B&B online. On arrival we were greeted with hospitality from Jim and Nora. We had an amazing tea of homemade baking with apple tart and buns. The house is clean and well maintained. When we returned that evening we were delighted to walk into... More

As a family of 6, we stayed here recently while attending a wedding in the town. Nora & Jim are exceptional hosts. They made us tea, with sandwiches, cakes and fresh out of the oven appletart and even whipped the cream. They even gave my two teenagers a bedroom each, even though I had booke a room for them to... Among the places I've stayed on five trips to Ireland, this ranks with the very best. Jim & Nora were superb hosts at their most comfortable home. We used three of the bedrooms and they were all excellent with great views of the countryside. I hope to come back next year.

Mr. and Mrs. Sheahan were lovely people and very welcoming, which makes it difficult to write a negative review. The property was probably very nice at one time, but it is in need of some repairs, refurbishment, and decluttering. In comparison with other B&B's I stayed in for the same price - and less - it just didn't meet the... More

Millstream House has to be the best B&B I've ever stayed at, mainly because of the couple who run it, Nora and Jim Sheahan. Nothing is too much trouble for them. A high tea greeted us on arrival: sandwiches, scones, fairy cakes and apple tart. The breakfasts were enormous and had about three courses and included Nora's home-made brown soda... More

What an experience! Talking about a Kingdom welcome. Nora and Jim couldn’t do enough for us. If you love award winning home baking and the chat over a cuppa at the kitchen table, this is the place for you. We were greeted with the offer of a cup of tea and we left with another invitation to a cuppa if... More
