Stayed at this fantastic little B&B for one night with my family at Easter to break up a journey northwards. We received a warm welcome and shown to our very comfortable and very clean, suite-like rooms, one with ensuite and the other with a private bathroom (with jacuzzi bath). Both rooms had great views of the surrounding countryside (Cambrian Mountains),... More

Andy and Bethan, we are glad that you chose to break your journey north and stay with us. Good food, hospitality and comfortable rooms, seem to be the things that our guests remember and comment on most often. And of course the beautiful scenery! We look forward to seeing you again some time for a longer visit, there is more... More

We have just spent three nights at this fabulous B&B. The room was large, beautifully decorated and furnished and with every facility one could wish for. The views alone are worth the asking price. The hosting was perfect and the breakfast to a very high standard. We have been using B&B `s regularly for about 15 years and Maesglas Uchaf... More

Brian, it was good to see you all back again for your second visit, and we thank you for your recommendation. Late arrivals (and early departures) are part of what we do, although hopefully not for every guest! We are glad that we were able to provide everything that you needed and look forward to seeing you next year. More

.... stayed at Maesglas Uchaf for one night during a weekend walking in the area. Wonderful welcome, superb facilities, delicious breakfast, and great value for money. Also had a good meal at the Miners' Arms, a 20 minute walk away. Will certainly be back - thanks to Peter and Angela.

Just back from my honeymoon and wanted to say I was very grateful for the comfortable stay and fantastic 'last breakfast' as a bachelor prior to the 'Long Walk' to the church 200m up the road. The glass of whisky prior to setting off was also appreciated- thanks for that!! At breakfast sat opposite a lovely lady attending an art... More

We stayed at the Maesglas Uchaf for three nights spanning a weekend. The hosts, Peter and Angela, were friendly and welcoming and the breakfast, room and facilities were excellent. At breakfast, you can also view sparrows squabbling over birdseed outside while red kites soar and wheel over the beautiful valley in the background. We would highly recommend this B+B for... More

David, we are spending a fortune on bird food, the least that we can expect is some entertainment in return, and the sparrows are happy to oblige. Red kites are also regular visitors, with no incentive from us. We do try to make sure that our guests enjoy their stay with us and we are glad that you enjoyed yours.... More

We stayed at this B&B for two nights last weekend, and will definitely be returning as the hosts Angela and Peter go above and beyond to make you stay enjoyable. The facilities were excellent, and the attention to detail was outstanding. The accommodation was spacious and spotlessly clean. The views from our room were stunning.
