We decided to break up the journey from Rantepao to the Togean Islands with a stop over in Tentena. Most people go all the way to Poso, but a few people suggested stopping here. On our way to Ampana, we decided to make a stopover in Tentena for two nights. Because of the good reviews on TripAdvisor we already made a reservation with Ue Datu. Glad we did! A very good hotel if you consider the value for money. Spacious new clean room with a very good shower. Perfect breakfast. Perfect quiet location, a few minutes from the wooden bridge. Elly, the owner, is extremely helpful and escorted us to the bus to make sure we took the right one. Free wifi. We recommend this place!

We arrived very late in Tentena after a long bus ride from Rantepao and Elly's brother picked us up from the bus station - we were amazed by this great service. “Clean and friendly hotel”

Nice, clean budget option in Tentena . They have better rooms with private bathroom and simple but clean budget rooms with outdoor mandi. You even have wifi. The manager Elly speaks English well and help you with transport and information. Breakfast is included and good. Don’t pay more than 10000 for a mototaxi when arriving with the bus.

We used this hotel between our rainforest stays in Lore Lindu and Tana Toraja and felt like home. It is very clean, white blankets,hot showers and the staff is extremly friendly and speaks quite a good English.
