Really warm welcome and excellent room, being so close to the River Cottage farm made it an easy walk there but really grateful for the pick up after dinner. Sorry that we could only stay for one night - hopefully we will have another reason the visit the area in the future, I know where we will be staying.

We've stayed at Netherleigh in the Studio many times over three years and have always found Sue and John very welcoming and thoughtful. The Studio is a lovely space where you can come and go as you please. It is always spotlessly clean and they let you bring your own food or eat takeaways there - it's no problem. The... More

We booked Netherleigh for 2 nights while we were visiting the lovely seaside town of Lyme Regis which is a short drive away. We stayed in the Suite, which is basically the whole first floor, comprising bedroom, bathroom and lounge. As well as tea & coffee making facilities we had a fridge and microwave. The rooms were spacious with a... More

Lovely one night stay - in the "Snug" room - whilst in the area. Peaceful location, friendly hosts, comfortable room with extra "touches" and a good breakfast - all at a nice price! Will recommend and hopefully return.

We stayed in the studio for 2 nights whilst in the area for a visit to River Cottage HQ. The studio met our expectations from what we'd seen on the website: a very pleasant room with extra space (sofa and tv area, kitchen/dining area), perfect for hanging out in when the weather wasn't great. Furnishings, decoration and cleaniness all to... More

We were given prior warning that the room we had booked would be "snug" and it didn't disappoint. However it was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved that it had a fridge with 2 pints of fresh milk and chilled water! The location enjoys fab views and it is really quiet. The breakfast was absolutely lovely and from... More

We've stayed at Netherleigh twice, and can't wait to visit again. In fact we book a table at the River Cottage Canteen just so that we can stay here for the weekend! Both the suite room and studio room have very comfortable king-sized beds, and John and Sue cook up a fantastic breakfast. They even went the extra mile and... More
