Three significant issues with this stay: 1. The room was set up with 2 single beds. Not a massive issue, but you expect a minimum of a queen size bed when paying $300+. 2. The airconditioning didn't work. The room was cold, and I turned on the heating to 27 degrees. All it did was pump out cold air. 3.... More

Fan in shower is useless so have to wipe down constantly to keep getting ready. Hardly any water comes from shower. Bar fridge wasn't turned on. Room service was the most oily burger ever. Car park unsafe for entrance and exit. The rest was ok and breakfast was good.

We arrived at 1230 lunchtime and were given our room keys. We had booked a winter zoo package which included breakfast, parking and a family pass to the zoo at a fabulous members price of $256. We had a one bedroom suite and they made up a sofa and trundle bed. The queen was very comfortable and we all slept... More

I stay in the Rydges almost every 1-2 weeks over the past 3-4 years for business needs. I would stay more as it is very close to business however the rates can vary excruciatingly. Outside of School holidays you need to book far in advance to get a reasonable rate other wise you can end up with a $300+ accom... More

My state manager made the comment that we would be happy with the fact we were in Rydges because "they have the comfiest beds". He wasn't wrong. Stayed in a 2 bdrm apartment and while the amenities were limited (toaster, kettle and microwave only), it is what you would expect from a hotel. Rydges has free wifi which I would... More

I booked the family Luna Park Package off their website the night before we went to Sydney. I am a Rydges member so the package was $352.00 which included one nights accommodation (in a Parkview Suite), Breakfast, Parking and 4 x tickets to Luna Park. On booking - a pop-up screen advised that if I continued my booking we would... More

We stayed recently. The room was clean and overall well maintained. Squeezed into the shower. Bed was comfortable and slept well. Lounge was ok - not that comfortable. Parking overall good. No move channel. Breakfast was a typical mass production even though it wasn't that busy. I would assume they would now how many people were staying to plan out... More

Very old, creaky lift to room, but nice to have a door that opens to a small balcony - great view towards the harbour and fresh air. Very, very clean. Fast internet access. No fuss hotel. Ideal for regular business traveller whose company only funds 3 star accomm and only 5min walk to my office. Taxis at the door at... More

We were very impressed with the staff at this hotel. Very friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable, but a little dated. You could tell they were old rooms that had just had a spruce up. Bathroom was tiny. The rest of the suite was spacious though - we had a separate main bedroom and then the kids had the fold... More

Stayed here because it was close to the expressway south out of Sydney. Overall impression was it needed to be refurbished. Bathroom exhaust fan didn't work, air conditioning was so noisy we turned it off. No disabled parking making disabled access difficult. Only 1 comfy chair in the room. It is a quiet location. Has plusses & minuses.

Dear Jocelyn C Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. Please accept our apologies for the louder than normal air conditioner and bathroom fan in your allocated room. This has been passed onto our maintenance team for repairs. We do have some parking spaces just outside the main lobby area that we use for disabled parking.... More
