An interesting and pleasant place to stay, with tidy and comfortable rooms. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and there are plenty of sights in the surrounding walking distance - the harbour bridge is close, and the nearby coastline has walkways worth travelling.

Anderledy has a range of accomodation to suit all budgets and guests. You are made to feel welcome and the nuns come into breakfast to chat to interested visitors. Courtyard and surrounds very peaceful. Good place to stay if you have ill relatives or friends at the Mater. Let the staff know on check in if you do. Have returned... More

A very quiet establishment in North Sydney, only a couple of blocks from the train station (but uphill). Hotel-style accommodation is fairly simple, but clean. And buffet continental breakfast is included. Staff are friendly.

It really deserves a 4 star rating - Great location. Clean. Quiet. Peaceful. Friendly and efficient staff. But here's where the 4th star fell - the mattresses are old and dipped in the middle - it gave us headaches when we woke up both mornings (and definitely not from a hangover). I've stayed here before, and I felt the springs... More

I stayed here for four nights recently to attend a conference. Single room, shared bathroom Small room, with the necessities - comfortable bed, free WiFi and some hanging space Bathroom down the hall. Breakfast was toast & cereals. Very patchy if you were gluten free. Problems? My room overlooked the front entrance. So it was noisy at all hours with... More

As I live out of town, Mary MacKillop offered me a simple, inexpensive place to stay rather than travel home late at night. The location is quiet despite it being in the heart of North Sydney. I had a room without bathroom facilities but that was not a problem - the was one right across the hall. I would highly... More

I really am weighing up between average and very good here. My family and I stayed for one night prior to sailing out on a cruise. I booked it due to the price and the fact it was such an interesting description on the website. We arrived early and the staff happily let us leave our cases which was very... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that we did not meet your expectation, but the street noise is a fact of living in a city. We are in the process of replacing all our mattresses and this should make for a more comfortable sleep. I do apologised about the cockroach, but it is not something that... More

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at Anderledy Lodge and what great value for money it is. Whilst the rooms may be a bit dated & basic, they are very clean and everything you need is there in the room for you. Very quiet in the complex but noise from surroundings areas still there - but it is a busy... More

Anderledy lodge is on a beautiful and convenient part of the North Shore. There are many wonderful restaurants within a short walk at the trendy Mcmahon's Point village area. Also around the lodge are many scenic and interesting walks you can do, admiring the beautiful historic houses, walkways and panoramic views of the harbour. The lodge itself is fully gated... More
