I would like to give Nung House a better rating but I just cannot get over the smell of the bathroom! It was quite vile and smelt like sewage and I could barely stand to be in there. Now I have got that out of the way, the rest of the stay was good. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and... More

The cheaper bungalows have a lot of holes and cracks for insects to enter but there is a huge and intact squared mosquito net that covers the double bed completely. Bathroom is rather difficult as you have to shower into a large bucket. The main house / lobby / restaurant is very nice and and you can choose from a... More

Better than expected, beds were one of best we slept on, while we expected the worst. Few bugs in bathroom, but hey it is the jungle. Decent staff, quite friendly and helpful, we could book our tour here too. We booked the Standard room with fan.

In short, the lady who seemed to run the place wasn't very friendly and the bathroom smelled like a morgue. Or worse. It was awful, putrid and disgusting. (I know they are synonyms, but I'm trying to drive the point home). We stayed three nights in one of the wooden bungalows and paid 500 baht a night. Figured other places... More

At less then £10 a night this place was a good backpackers find. We stayed in a standard bungalow room 7. This building was made out of concrete unlike our friends next door in room 8 who's was made out of wood. We payed the same price so don't understand how the rooms were so different. Both were clean and... More

The setting of this place is lovely with lots of greenery. Staff is helpful and friendly and offers some good food options. The rooms are good, and reasonably clean (cleaner than most places in Thailand) and you have your own porch. If you book an overnight tour with them you can leave your bags there for free

We booked 3 nights in the tree house option. The room was cool, we got the one next to the road which wasn't as good as the ones near the river but still ok. Rooms are rustic, you get what you pay for, not the cleanest of rooms I've ever stayed in but expected considering they are huts more than... More

We were really pleasantly surprised by Nung House. The location is good and in really easy walking distance from the main hostel/restaurant street [don't forget to bring a torch - there's a fair stretch between bungalows with no street lights]. We'd only booked one night up front as we were a little nervous about what we'd be getting for our... More

We stayed in one of the 400 Baht bungalows for 3 nights. The rooms were very clean, with mosquito net and a nice kingsize bed. The restaurant has very delicious and fresh food for good prices. And the lovely owner gave us heaps of rambutan and mangosten fruit from the trees in their garden. We booked a 2 days/1 night... More
