This is my second time here and it won't be the last. The log cabins are a perfect little getaway for a couple or a family or even a group of friends. The scenery is gorgeous and the log cabins with the hot tubs are a must as its lovely to sit back and relax enjoying the peacfulness. The raddle... More

We stayed for one night at the number 6 cabin which sleeps 10 with a hot tub. We chose this for 9 of us for a surprise for my aunties 60th birthday celebrations. Our ages ranged from 25-60 years. On arrive we were met with sensation views of the snowy hills, absolutely fantastic! We went into the pub/resturant for lunch,... More

This was personally my second stay at the rocks cottage. Originally I went with my fella and loved it. We were visiting Alton towers and managed to grab the cottage for a couple of nights a couple of years back now. We returned end of summer 2014 with a group of our close friends and their 1 year old little... More

We stayed just one night in a log cabin with a hot tub. The cabin was spotlessly clean and had all amenities needed. Staff in the pub were very friendly and welcoming. Hot tub was an excellent addition to the whole stay!

My boyfriend took me here for Christmas, we stayed Christmas Day and Boxing Day, and it snowed on Boxing Day! We stayed in daisy cottage, a little further from the pub but nice and private. It was a lovely little house, the heating was on so it was warm when we got there. The hot tub outside was brilliant, that... More

Booked the log cabin for 5 nights while going to Alton towers, the rooms are dated and could be done with a upgrade. There is a strong smell of mould in the showers & traces on the walls behind the pillows but had been cleaned but the marks left. The Hot tubs are very clean and checked every day &... More

Cabins are basically mobile homes, but have amazing views and do all they need to. Staff are helpful, the heating very effective and so conveneint for alton towers. Took my adult daughters for the weekend and have had a great time. The pub itself though far from the beaten track, is busy because the food is good, particularly the proper... More

Stayed here for 3 nights with 7 other girls to celebrate my friends 30th and visit Alton Towers. We had a fab time! Cottage a little dated but it was clean and had everything you needed. We enjoyed our stay and was very convenient for Alton Towers. Hot tub was lovely, very private and the staff maintained it everyday. The... More
