We moved into the area in August and stopped at the Queen's Head while we were looking for properties in June. Paul and Wendy made us feel at home from the time we first walked through the door...and remembered our names when we moved in. Great beers (Doom Bar our fave) and amazing menu. There's a good choice including some... More

We stayed as a group of 8 in four of the rooms at the queens head, New Year's eve. The night was really great, the music, food and hospitality was fantastic and then we retired to our very excellent rooms. Brunch was served the following day which was also very good.

We visited the pub on a Friday for an evening meal. The pub was a little further out than our usual haunts but we heard it was under new management and worth a try. The pub has been refurbished and although the restaurant could perhaps be a little more up-to-date, was none the less cosy and welcoming. The bar areas... More

The Inn has undergone total refurbishment to a very high standard. looks nothing from outside but interior is warm and homely. The owner's, friendly greeting led us to a table for lunch. Not many in as it was Thursday and the pub needs to overcome its previous poor reputation. Meal choice was not extensive but okay with many traditional plates.... More

Heard the establishment was under new management so decided to give it a try for our Easter Day treat. We ordered the sunday beef roast and found it extremely well cooked and very very enjoyable followed by sticky toffee pudding 'to die for' and concluded with latte coffees from the new coffee bar which again were excellent. Good choice of... More
