Earlier reviews of this hotel are harsh and most unfair. The Mill does need new windows for the paintwork is beyond repair and some of the upholstery is tired - but this is an old hotel and has great character. didn't actually stay in the end. couldn't face it. very dirty outside, staff rude, room tatty, greasy headboard, lamps hanging off wall, very dangerous, hole in bed cover, window frames stuck and grotty, windows dirty.
