Tricky to find - a hidden gem you might say - the whole family stayed there three nights and found the accommodation comfy, the breakfast hearty and the walk to the pub, Tuckers Arms, bracing. Very nice place indeed, just outside Honiton easy access to the Jurassic Coast, and a true taste of the English countryside. The owners turned our... More

We stayed at Summer Lodge 2nd and 3rd January as we were booked in for a River Cottage Luncheon on the 3rd. We traveled to Summer Lodge from London and via Stonehenge and arrived about 6pm. We were warmly greeted by Ady who was very accommodating and not at all troubled by our late-ish arrival. Ady arranged dinner for us... More

This was a great bed and breakfast. The accommodation was comfortable and cosy, and the host was warming and welcoming. We were also served a super breakfast. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you

We came for a visit to River Cottage. Stayed 2 nights at Summer Lodge, in the cosy & romantic cabin in the garden. Great host, arranged for us to have dinner at local pub when we arrived late from London. Lovely breakfast, fresh fruit, warm croissants & a full English fit for a king. The house, garden & views all... More

Well, what a find this was. Lovely hosts, beautiful place with breathtaking views ( when you can see them !), a great breakfast every morning and even a comedy suicidal bird living on the balcony! You don't get that sort of entertainment everywhere! Stayed there with my daughter for 4 nights in the most comfortable bed ever! I don't even... More

To stay in a peaceful country setting with stunning views, a luxurious room and sleep in a ridiculously comfortable bed then book a stay here. Hosts Tim and Ady make you very welcome, nothing seemed too much trouble from cleaning up the tea I spilt onto the very deep pile light coloured carpet in our room ( balcony room) to... More

This B&B ticks all the boxes: warm welcome, lovely property, glorious scenery, top class accommodation and excellent breakfast. Our room was a converted summer house so no neighbours or rooms above; the double bed was huge and comfortable with spotlessly clean and cosy bedding; the shower was good and hot and powerful. As an escape from the noise and bustle... More
