We were given a friendly welcome when we visited for lunch today. The inn itself was very warm and the landlady and Kathy were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and well presented. The food was very tasty and served really hot. Altogether a lovely lunch. Thank you.

When Staying in the area the Tuckers Arms was recommend . What a fab Sunday roast dinner the best the ever out. 9 meals all servied at the same time, all piping hot resulting in 9 clean plates . Would defiantly go back again. Old style pub with bags of charm. All staff very friendly and knowledgeable about the local... More

Family meal out and were not disappointed. Fish had been freshly delivered husband and daughter had sea bass whilst I chose mixed seafood chowder which was a culinary delight. Would highly recommend. We are at lunchtime and the restaurant was full. So please book in advance

I really don't know what happened tonight ☹ it had to be the worst meal out ever for me. It really looked like my ribeye steak had been cooked some where else. Strange My wife's and daughters meals were fine really well presented and tasty. Really disappointing.

Have been to the Tuckers arms many times and have never been disappointed, The chef always pays attention to detail and uses fresh seasonal local ingredients. A great friendly little pub you wont be disappointed with.

First visited this delightful pub in the quaintest of villages two years ago and was so impressed with the cooking and surroundings, we decided to visit once more for a birthday weekend staying in the pub's accommodation. I'm delighted to report the cooking by young Craig is still fantastic and cannot be recommended too highly. The lad's really talented. It's... More

About 8 miles from home and first visit for food! So as we play skittles here a couple of times a year and the super we get is always good we went for my birthday! Son was late arriving but we still were able to sit to our table no pressure from staff even though it was busy! After ordering... More

Wow this place is great. Propper old Pub with great hospitality and a real warm welcoming feel. And now for the good bit, the food is stunning , super quality, huge portions and great choice. Menu has something for everyone, quite creative but with some real solid traditional options, the Sunday roast is a feast! Not cheap Pub food but... More

On arrival relaxation hit me like a brick, stunning place, yes there are no mod cons as its 800 years old but the food and hospitality is bang up to date. Bev, Tracey and Craig make you feel at home straight away, food is out of this world, just gutted didn't get to sample the new menu due out the... More

Friends had raved about this place and I was not disappointed. Great choice of specials. Excited by the prospect of the "Belly Welly" starter but in truth it was a tad overdone. The hake main was superb though. Praise also for the cod loin and burger from my companions. Delightful staff and great location. Perhaps a little pricey but the... More
