I had booked the ashburn for my friends and I (5 of us). When I arrived at the ashburn my friends hadn't arrived but I thought I'd go in and get our table and a drink....that didn't materialise as I was ignored by two waitresses not a good start. When my friends arrived we were brought to the restaurant section.... More

Hello Mrs Crossey, May I first apologise for the inadequate service you recieved on Saturday night past. We have raised the issue with the kitchen & also service staff to make sure this does not reoccur. I believe I had brought some water to your table at one point, I wish you had raised the issues with me at the... More

Absolutely horrible, guts of a tenner for chicken goujons and warm salad could have at least had some Tabasco onions or an onion ring, and near 3quid for pepper sauce where as gravy is 1, nothing jumps out of the menu. And sour face woman that served us was in a horrible mood (again) and just stood right in front... More

Working in Lurgan I have passed this hotel for many years but never ventured over the door. This was then suggested as a great spot to stay after I was out with colleagues - despite the venue for the outing being a competitor hotel. Located near the train station with links to Belfast and Dublin and just off the M1... More

Stayed here with family members for a Lurgan wedding. The rooms were large, spotless and very comfortable. It was great sitting in the bar having our dinner listening to the hum of Lurgan accents from the local and being attended to by very friendly staff. I don't think Lurgan has another hotel but not to worry if you can book... More

My colleagues and I have stayed at The Ashburn Hotel a number times whilst visiting Craigavon on business trips. The staff at the hotel are always very friendly and welcoming, a few times we have checked into the hotel late and there has always been a friendly staff member there to check us in and help with luggage if needs... I visit Lurgan about twice per year and the Ashburn has always been a favourite with my family for a Sunday evening meal. Previously we had been to the restaurant but the last 3 visits were to the bar for dinner and I much preferred the lively atmosphere. The service was really fast once we made the order and the... Visited on a Tuesday afternoon for a spot of lunch with my parents. Menu had good selection and the 2 of us availed of the daily specials which were good value and I had the Ashburn chicken burger with garlic chips. Satisfying portions and the garlic chips and potatoes were particularly tasty. All round, good service good food the only... More
