I've eaten here regularly over the years and it generally delivers decent, non pretentious food. However.....a group of us went last week and 2 of the group had the chicken goujons. What arrived was disappointing.....obviously bought in goujons, dry and tough. Every bog standard chipper in the country can prepare their own chicken goujons (to varying standards) so it wouldn't... Approaching the rear of this hotel to park the car I was very concerned of where I was arriving. Travelling up the ramp to reception even worsened my concern. However, and its a very big however, my room was great (5) large room with a super king size bed and another single, seperate hallway and modern large bathroom. All modern... More

I go here often for a meal usually a Sunday. I have had dinner in the more formal dining room but I enjoy the bar area better. Meals are good sized portions, comfort food. Steaks are a winner although other dishes are lovely too, nice deserts too. Prices reasonable and service also prompt.

Family and friends filled The Ashburn Hotel last weekend when we attended my son's wedding in Lurgan. The hotel is clean and very comfortable and the breakfasts and evening are all freshly cooked and excellent. All the staff without exception were friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble - would I stay there again DEFINITELY!

We were delighted to find this place - Lovely big comfortable quiet room convenient to all we needed to see in Lurgan. The staff are exceptional - warm , friendly and really go out of their way to make your stay perfect. The food is just fantastic. My husband had the speciality of a ham and chicken layered dish that... More

We have visited the Ashburn, many times over the years, their restaurant, and food is has always ,been delightful, and they do some of the best, tasting steaks in the town, the restaurant service, has always been first class, and the girls,do a fantastic, job, but last night my wife and myself, were treated like pigs,by a rather ill mannered young man,who was on duty in the restaurant around... Pauline was very helpful and accommodating to our family. Seven of us stayed here and the facilities were clean, comfortable and very close to the middle of town. Breakfast and Lunch were very, very good and the service was excellent! My brother and his family usually have to reserve two rooms as they have five people, but Ashburn had a... More

I found the car park tricky to find bit once checked in I was met by a colleague and brought to see her fantastic room. Mine was then disappointingly small and noisy. There was a loud hum from the vents outside all night. The bed was clean but lumpy and hard, the pillows were as bad! Worst night sleep in... More

I had the pleasure of staying at The Ashburn Hotel in Lurgan when I travelled to Ireland for my Cousins wedding last weekend. I had the best stay in this lovely hotel and couldn't fault anything about it. Our room was very spacious and very nicely decorated. The food in both the restaurant and the main bar was absolutely delicious... More
