Staying at the Riverside Hotel was like staying with your Gran. I felt looked after and well fed but be careful looking at the carpet with a hangover. Tourist information booked this for me for 2 nights -there wasnt a website available so I couldnt check it out propertly, now I know why. Our room was filthy which is probably the worst thing you can get in a B & B. The carpet had burn marks on it, there were dead spiders on the bedside shelving, no lightbulbs... more
If you need to find a bog standard B&B in Ripon (which is in North Yorkshire), you can't go wrong here. It is a seven-minute walk into the heart of Ripon & near plenty of beautiful riverside walks.
